Has anyone had issues getting this to work? I can see in my sound settings my master volume is showing audio is being received but I am not able to get any audio in my chop.
And how to do an audio reactive using the noise from the outside? I'm trying to make my visual react to the music the DJ is playing in party's but kinda hard to make it react. Don't know how.

Sorry, but I can't believe no one mentioned this. It works but only with the speakers on your computers. If you connect the laptop to some other speakres, it doesn't work anymore. You get the audio output only from you laptop speakers or you get the audio from the good speakers, but then you don't see sound anymore in ToucDesigner
For some reason on the last section I'm getting a warning label on my "Chop to". Any idea what could cause it? Followed your instructions but not sure what's going on
Change Image Layout to either Row(s) per Channel Set (Wrapped), or Fit to Square (Combine Sets). I just realized I'm responding to a 2 year old comment lol. Hopefully it's useful for someone. I'm sure you've already messed around with it, and got something working.
@@luctang4916 Not sure if you saw my reply. Probably got removed due to the screenshot link lol. My CHOPto looked like it wasn't working, but linking nodes to it worked.
I've learned so much from you already, I was using my mic to do it too just foolin around with the audio device in, got spotify up and runnin with it no problem tysm!
@@elekktronaut yes i added the audio device out as you showed. The visuals work fine but I can't hear anything because the audio device out is turned into VB audio instead of my speakers.
was able to right click and copy and paste but no options of how to "Set reference expression" came up (through right clicking or left clicking). Know any ways to do that if it doesn't pop up?
and for some reason when I click try to copy and paste the multiply on the math it shows up as "Volume2". Not sure what what's happening... Anyone else get this too? or have any fixes for it?
Hey there. u can also activate 'stereo mix' in your windows 10 audio settings. As input device you can select 'stereo mix', so any of your system sound is routed to td without the need of vb-cable.
I talk about that at the end of the video. This does not work with my sound card however and apparently doesn't work for quite a few people so I thought I'd make a tutorial with a technique that works for sure :)
