That sensitivity and awareness you have when it comes to your girls, Miss Ann in particular, is heightened because of your wanting to make sure she’s ok in this world. Maybe sensitivity is the wrong word. That’s the protective mechanism that takes over in us as mothers. You weren’t complaining or being a negative Nancy. They need to be educated, Sis ❤

You have the right to feel how you feel, but why not tell them ahead of time that your daughter is specials needs?, that why they can better prepare and make sure she does have a great experience. unless the intent was malicious I would fault the company not the worker.
Do y'all realize this place has hundreds of employees? No one is going to send out a mass notice to 300 people giving them the "heads-up" that a 7-year old with autism is on her way so be nice today lol. I think when I mentioned how happy I was with the waterpark experience y'all thought that meant that the problem was that the facility didn't have sensory stuff for Anne. Absolutely not. There was PLENTY of sensory stuff for her at every turn. I only mentioned that to give props to the waterpark. The issue had to do with a single individual employee who was rude to us. The end.
I am so glad that you addresses the issue. To me if you felt there was an issue it should be addrressed, the same as if it was racial, age related or other wise! People that work in public places should be trained to respect people and treat them appropriately. Thanks for addressing the issue not only for your child but the issue of right and wrong. ❤

And thank you for surrendering to that. I just have one comment. My mother actually babied my brother. Even until this day she still babies him and I can tell that certain things he would get upset about that. She does, but it what it is.
Glad everything went well on your doctors appointment with fibroids and mammogram. I’m getting mine, I have a concern but prayerfully all is well. My son did the British swim school here. We started with the general class and once they saw he was not a good fit due to his autism and not wanting to wait for his turn… they offered us private lessons discounted. I paid $120 per month.

It’s the way I am a Great Wolf Lodge enthusiast! 😂 okay! Cause me & my minions stay on a roadtrip & with the cost of hotels ..it just makes sense for us to stay at one❤. Our favorite is the newest one in Baltimore / Perryvile , I am speaking only from OUTSIDE bystanding knowledge but I would like to say the accommodations are priority there. They train their staff really well, and I have been to many locations(TX,KS,OH,CA,VA,MD*) ❤ and feel they will go the extra mile at the MD one
Vaughn, please reach out to the Manager at that particular lodge.. with a special needs child, I've visited Great Wolfe Lodge at least 3 times a year since he was 4, he's 12 now. They will definitely make it right and you'll see the changes and your next visit
