I am having 434 Indian model a little different from those i see them on the internet.. it still runs and it's 4 cly. 44 hp engine, does almost all the things required..with impressive sound. Running since 1973, till today..
I never did any real farming but I've worked for dairy farmers. Worked 1 season 4 Twin City Foods driving dumps 3 axles I think. 6 12s made real good $$ no time to spend it. This all b4 *debit cards.* All I bot was smokes grub and gas. Pal a mine a tree farmer just passed away not quite 2yr ago. I woulda gone to his service had I known. We had a small IH tractor at work affectionately called Lil Red perfect 4 small jobs.
we've got a ih 434 on our farm, only it has one of them weird lookin' roofs on them, the 1s with the plywood on top to protect u from the rain. Very fun tractor to bale with.
they still use those 434 and b275 here in cumbria u.k . carlisle airport use one with a topper on the back to cut the edges of the runway . its very important you keep a strong antifreeze mix in the engine as the engine block is very thin between cylinder liners and very prone to cracking the block between the liners in sub zero temp . a very good tractor and very economical . i think they still make those b275 types in india ?
