Update on some progress we made getting the International 5288 field ready including an oil change, cab strip, capping and removing the old hydraulic seat, and installing a new seat. Enjoy!
If I was farming full time maybe or doing a lot of tilling on rough ground. I think it will work just fine for my purposes. Didn’t want to buy a $1000 seat for an $8k tractor.
@@selfmadefarmer2020we've got used truck seat bases in 94 series, kept the swivel seats. Put self contained base in the 5288, with original seat on it. I think we're $400 into the self contained base. It's way better than the original hydraulic suspension and doesn't make a mess!
