Yes, the "I can't think of the english word so I'm just going to talk around it until I get there" is definitely it's own kind of ramble 😅 I'm not ashamed to say that I sometimes use a thesaurus for my reviews, just so I don't use the same three words for a book I liked over and over again. This is really interesting, I never thought about how frustrating it must be to not be able to recommend things to people that are in other languages. I run a youtube channel for work too, and it definitely makes my own channel more casual as I don't want to work in my spare time 😂

This was a most wonderful tag. I follow a number of ’Tubers who use English as a second language, and have wondered about some of these same questions.
I petition that anytime in the future when you can't think of a word in English you say it in Spanish and it will help me slowly expand my Spanish vocabulary. 🤓 I'm also excited to watch some of the booktube channels in Spanish! I keep trying to watch TV shows in Spanish but I never stick to it and my listening comprehension is lacking. 😅
I feel your struggles. 😅 I had to do video editing for work for two months at the beginning of the year, and I was SO fed up with anything video by the end of it. Personally, I'd be very interested in hearing you talk about the Spanish books that you read. I'm always on the look-out for Spanish books to read, and I'm sure I'm not the only person who watches your videos who reads in Spanish. :) The last Spanish book I read (the one I recommended to you), I found on an American booktuber's channel because it happens to have been translated. 😆 I actually love that I have the option to pick and choose between translations in different languages. For instance, the English and French translations of classic Japanese novels are often far superior to the German ones (although the situations seems to have gotten better in recent years), and I'm so glad that I'm not dependent on them.
I actually love editing videos haha! It's a very fun creative process for me, but it takes time. Not editing would be way quicker 🤣 I talked about the book you recommended in my video for today! (And other books in Spanish). I haven't read the one you recommended, but it's on my list🤓
It was really interesting to hear your answers, I also had to rethink how I was planning to read books that are not in English, will I read them translated into English or Icelandic. I recently read Les Miserables, and I always thought I would read it in English. But then I decided to read it in Icelandic and it was fantastic. But it is an interesting choice we non-English native speakers have to reflect upon. I'm happy that you found the tag :)
