jubouti is ethnically majority Somali, think these people in comment section trashing Somalis are minority ethnic groups plus you have to understand the French assimilation policy that took a toll on all francophones.and there r ignorant ones all ova.
Definitely I see the history ehind it it it can seem a rad odd to draw such a strong line given djibouti was part of somalis before colonizers came. There are the afar people who I understand if they identify as djibouti but a somali claiming djibouti? There's something off there.
Aragtida I think you misread my last comment. I didn't mean djibouti should join Somalia or anything but rather the Somalis there as an ethnic group should still state they are somali since immigration /= ethnicity. That was my point.
