This truck absolutely needs a Flatbed of 1 cargo space, or at least the low saddle like he mentioned. It has so much frame space without either bed add on. That could make it even more versatile.
The Internasty is my favorite scout by a mile. It’s damn near unstoppable once you fully upgrade it. Almost never need the autonomous winch because it rarely ever falls over.
@ drameday Well said, Yes ive used the H out of the Loaf and after realizing how good it is with chained tires upgraded its my new go to ride it looks good with the ol school blue paint job as well
The Loadstar with full service bed and 900L scout fuel trailer is my favorite scout setup. Hardly ever have to think about fuel because it’s already there. It covers ground so quickly. And if it does get stuck - which isn’t often, the winch gets you out with ease.
The first truck I got paid to drive was a 1968 Loadstar 1600. I said it was just big pickup when the owner asked if I could handle one of those. He was shocked the 16 year old new hire volunteered to drive the big trucks. Oh, and not only could they drift on snow and mud, but pavement as well. Wasn't the easiest thing to control, being it didn't have power steering or power brakes, but they were tough and fun to drive. Though, the fun part might have been because I was a teenager and you could still get away with some crazy stuff in the late '90s and early '00s.
The Loadstar has been my main scout for a while now, and it's fantastic. I haven't really run into any of the negatives you've listed here either. But recently I have been using the Kodiak C70 as a scout and it does pretty well too. It's pretty convenient to be able to open bridges and clear roads with the vehicle I'm using to explore. It's not too bad on fuel, and it's small enough to fit down small paths. It's not the best when carrying a heavy load or pulling a trailer, but it can if it has to.
@SirKaldar the Kodiak is a lot of fun if you’re looking for a challenge. Pulling loads it has no business pulling, down routes it probably shouldn’t be on, lol.

Idk I never had this thing tip over. (If you don’t count that one time I chucked it off a mountain in Alaska. That was on purpose). It feels more stable even that the Hummer.

I imagine the lights are meant to be a reference to that with the service cab and base level paint it looks like a US forest service wild land fire truck
++ Loaded up with the service cab addon and chained tires its a beast across unlocking Alaska watchtowers and repairing the heavy trucks at the same time even with the scout fuel trailer on hitch is nearly unstoppable i love this rig...
I've bought the loady twice and ended up selling it both times. Also I dig this channel so keep up the good work and you'll go far your presentation is great.
Enjoying you Snowrunner videos. Good bits of info with a pinch of laughs thrown in. Me and the International never really hit it off. It was actually to universal for me. It did a little of everything kinda but nothing made it a standout for me.

@@ATribeCalledCars I tried the KHAN 39 and the H2 and kept flipping them on trails. Use the pickup bed, off road gear box, lift kit with larger tires, and it goes very quick off-road and much harder to flip. This is so stable I run the advanced medium winch which makes mud and snow traversal much faster. I can count on one hand the number of times I have flipped it and I am almost done with the game. I just got the Tatarin and that is now my go to scout.
Thing Boy - Its by far superior than the CK, the CK even fully loaded with huge mud tires is too short of a wheelbase as is liable to easily roll over, "the loaf" ( great name ) done right can winch a heavy duty with ease ive towed some 1/2 way across the map just for the fun of it
Tiff Needell! That's who you sound like! It's been bothering me ever since I started watching your videos and I just got it now! Seriously though, you make the best (and funniest) SR videos, hands down. I know because I seem to waste as much time watching YT on this criminally addictive game as I do playing it. I clearly need to get that raised suspension for the 1700 because without it, whilst its still capable, it does have it's limitations (as you mentioned). And no idea why you liked the Hummer H2 - it gets stuck in absolutely everything, drives like a pig and sounds awful (at least in the PS4/5 version).... that got sold super quick I'm afraid.

I liked the Hummer H2 back then (two years ago ish) because it was okay for the early game. I have not really used it since though for reasons you mention. Truth be told, most scouts are unnecessary but the autonomous winch element can be handy!
Now 1 year later, I think clearly, 1700 is challenged by F750. I think F750 keeps many advantages of 1700, like always-on difflock, and solves many disadvantages of 1700, like switchable AWD, carry much more fuel and repair, capable of crane+bed(1 slot) +trailer, etc. The only disadvantage is it can't attach scout trailers, and it only has enough tire grip for side bed trailer, the smallest truck trailer.
So hello, I've driven one of these irl They are quite hard to kill, but won't get you a-b fast Funny they guzzle fuel ridiculously fast in game, same as irl Seems they have done some research, nicely made game example of the truck
To put the speed on road of this truck in perspective: I tested zero to sixty (mph I think) with bumping the clutch, best engine, and highrange gearbox and achieved less than 5.8 seconds 0 to 60! Lol it’s more realistic not bumping the clutch (22 sec) but it’s slow

By far my favorite scout, I used it to explore all of Alaska with the maintenance bed and the fuel trailer, you can get across the entirety of Alaska without needing to ever rescue to garage

Honestly I use this monster to haul anything my bigger trucks can't get to. The heft and pull power is astonishing compared to the big boys of snowrunner
@@ATribeCalledCars I swear the mud tires are bugged on it. They always sink in and just churn everything up. Even the offroad tires and stock hummer tires perform better than the mud tires.
@@DeathHelper420 But I see no extra tyres with a padlock symbol next to it :( Nevermind. The raised suspension just makes it even more capable offroad, but doesn't make it any better for deep bogs. Seems like a balance decision from the developers.
@@ATribeCalledCars granted the fleetstar is a little bit younger. it looks like a mid 70's model where as the loadstar looks like a mid to late 60's model.
To be honest, quite a few niche genres overlap around this point. But I have some similar tunes that are definitely designated as dubstep so who knows lol.
