My point exactly. You like trains. We like garbage trucks. Without refuse trucks, I'm sure you can imagine how cluttered and littered our cities and homes would be.
Nice job. Glad he doesn't need the tipper, those ones are terrible. They'd definitely benefit by adding a hopper extender and dual side tippers, like green waste uses. Wouldn't have to pack as often and spillage wouldn't be an issue.
West Cost Refuse Trucks, this reminds me of the old BFI now waste connections truck in my old neighborhod, i used to help them out during Christmas(winter) break from school, and it the hydraulic lift in the back never worked, never could figure out what was wrong with it, but we always ended up lifting trashcans that weighed 75 maybe 100 pounds while the driver stayed in the truck and the helper walked ahead and got more cans ready
Unique, yes. But consider this, how is this any weirder than following a train? Railfanning seems to be more and more popular. Trains are all pretty similar. Now a garbage truck, there's an infinite number of body/chassis combinations. They all sound different (except new ones - they all sound the same) and have their own tendencies. No matter, it's not something we can exactly help, but there's nothing wrong with that. It's just a bit different. LIke using 3's instead of e's in your username
Actually, even in remote parts, nearly every area has curbside collection. When that dump closes, what's the resident to do? There's nothing to haul the garbage to a different landfill. We all need garbage trucks in some way. Now, coming back to your original comment. Entertainment. That's all it is. No need to get in some fight over your ignorance
