Roma people make an important and unique contribution to European diversity and heritage. Today, we must acknowledge and celebrate these contributions of our largest European ethnic minority. In a Europe where populism and racism are alive, we will lead the battle in ensuring that cultural differences, equal opportunities and expression of identity are no longer oppressed.
