Happy International Roma Day!
50 years ago, on 197, the First World Romani Congress was organised and 8th of April was decided as the International Roma Day. Cultural and political programmes were adopted for the advancement of the Roma communities, as well as unifying symbols.
On this day, FEANTSA calls for the European Union and member states to respect the right to adequate and safe housing for Roma and to adopt measures that ensure ending homelessness among Roma communities.
