It is unnecessary to use two hands for numbers. In ASL, only one hand is used from 0 to 999. For 3, use the first 3 fingers, for 6, use the middle 3 fingers, and for 9 use the last 3 fingers. For 10, use a thumb. For 11, flick your index finger from your thumb. For 12, flick index and middle fingers from your thumb. for 13 to 19, switch from thumb to the appropriate number of fingers. Well, every Sign Language is different, ASL isn't the only one, and it seems like you don't know what International Sign Language is for. It's supposed to be the easiest way to communicate with people who use different sign languages, it's a Sign Language you can use when traveling to another country and you don't know their sign language, ISL is a very useful tool and the best way to communicate with deaf people all around the world when you don't know each others sign language.
