Waa nasiib daro in aad soomaali sheegataan afaf dad kale leeyihiina ku faantaan oo ku wada hadashaan. Noqda kuwii ku faana afkooda, diintooda, dhaqankooda.
Nothing looks Somali in this award except your looks. The award has lost its essence of 'Somalinimo' in my opinion. We have a beautiful culture, religion as Somalis. First of all, be proud to talk and learn Somali then we will talk about Somalis coming together for awards and other stuff

This is an award show ? Celebrating how the dhaqan is being represented through different somalis. Appreciate & support get your mind out the gutter. It’s a somali international award show furthermore it’s the dhaqan bringing them together for the awards.
@@mohamedoumar6610 Ofcourse you can but the reality is there is a price to being raised and educated in non Somali speaking countries. And that is one of them.People often spend 20 years or so in an English (or other) speaking education system then live and work around people using that language so we shouldn’t be shocked if it becomes their first language.Perhaps instead of looking at things they may be doing wrong in your view focus on what they may be bringing to the culture or community. Also important to hear -what- people is more valuable than the language used. I can speak a whole lot of nonsense in af somali and it be non beneficial, indeed much of the political triablism in our country is justified in af somali. So again, content is the priority. If it bothers you so much I suggest focusing on redeveloping our country so that people do not need to live in such faraway lands where as social beings they absorb some of the customs and systems there and lose language and culture I am sure everyone would prefer to not be a refugee.
