Thank you so much for your videos. I recently got accepted into Deakin Medical School and I'm starting in January next year. Your videos really helped and help me feel excited about the next 4 years
It sounds like you went through a post graduate pathway into Medical school, having gotten a prior Bachelor degree in Biomed first. Would you mind sharing what influenced your decision to go this route rather than the undergraduate route as an international student?
Hi. I have finished high school in Europe. So when I move in Australia in order to get accepted in med school I have to give the exam IELTS right? I don't have to go to high school again?
hi, I'm currently studying general medicine in Yoshkar ola Russia but i want to continue my masters in Australia, can you you please become my mentor for this journey? thank you
If you don’t mind me asking, do you consider the programs to be expensive? I’m from Hong Kong and I want to study at either monash or uni of melb but the fees are making me question my decision, also thank you so much for ur videos, they are really helpful and informative for prospective students like me 💓
Hey there Im an Australian citizen and i am living in a arab country and i want to come back and study medicine. Do i need the IELTS and do Australian citizen pay for university and whats the gpa for it thanks 🥰
i have currently passed my diploma in dental hygienist from my home country and looking forward to join in dental surgery in future, so first as an undergraduate degree can i take any degree like bachelor in health(aesthetics)/dermal science?
Hii im from a south Asian country and I'm planning on going to Monash Malaysia and then exchange to Australia like in 2/3 they said it's possible...does this effect me getting an internship as an international student ? 😣😣
Hey, is it possible to get into medical school in Australia through A levels..?I know being in Australia one need to get required ATAR score. But my child is contemplating to choose the pathway of A levels to medicine. Please reply
Hi, thank u for sharing. I know international students are not guaranteed internships. So is this too hard to get internship ? And do i have to comeback to my country if i don’t get it ?
@@medisophi4853 Pardon my nosiness however, how have you been able to afford all of it? Did you already have money or are you allowed to work your way through?
@@medisophi4853 Ok. I really do not believe in apologies however I know my question is very nosy. However, I've extensively researched international studies and funding can be one of multiple reasons someone's Visa or whatever is rejected. Anyhow, I appreciate you taking time to respond.
I think it's so cool how everyone's pathway to med is soooo unique like there's always some combination or things that's different for your application xD
Hey I wanted to ask you about internships after medical school finishes. I also got into medicine in Australia for 2022, and since you’re there, what are your views on how hard it is to get an internship after graduation? I know it’s not guaranteed for internationals but I have heard that many do get one. Thanks!
@@medisophi4853 hii im an international student too....so does that mean that they don't give international students internships in Australia?? Is it hard to get one ??
Hey, your video is amazing! I am a brazilian student and just saw that medicine is really expensive in Australia (80k a year). How did you manage to pay it? Are the student loan interest rates high as 7%?
Hi thank you so much for the feedback. Yes the tuition fees are incredibly high, and I would not be able to pay it myself. I am lucky in that sense that I have family support:)
Hi, I'm currently high school students who want to get into medical school in Australia in the future. However, besides medicine, I'm also considering about studying bachelor's degree in computing science. So for now, I am thinking about pursuing both degree as a double major(both computer science and biomedical) student in the future. how do you think about the schoolwork if I do that. could you give me some suggestions, please? thanks
Biomedicine and medicine are not the same . Pursuing biomedicine and computing science is possible but I wouldn’t recommend combining biomedicine and computing science
