My Scores: Class 9 65% Class 10 92% Class 11 80% Class 12 91% Do you think I would get admission in *any* university? I have got pretty good extracurricular activities. My extracurricular includes some school level olympiad achievements(CS and Math). And a participation in a National Youth Parliament which had the signature of Finance Minister of MP.

Waterloo is a good school for computer science, engineering, accounting, finance, and math. Science and Law are not programs Waterloo should be chosen for. Check out the following programs: CS, CS/BBA, SE, CFM, AFM, Engineering (anything), Math/CPA, Math (and majors).

Lol because more than 50% of students go to IIT by reservation only that's why IIT put 3 yrs engineering bsc degree for this students high dropout rate. India admit student in IIT in terms of reservation and general category students go to private universities and IIt admit sc sts

Oh man ... having to relocate for some months just to be able to do a co-op sucks ass. You're a poor student .. how are you going to be paying rent on two places? All that co-op pay will disappear cause you have two rentals. Usually you sign in for 6 months or 12 month minimum here... the rental people know how to take advantage of the students. Plus moving all your stuff... which can be hassle if you have a hobby outside of schoolwork. Or if you live with parents nearby you now have that extra expense as well when you move - besides not having any of the home comforts (an actual quiet space to meditate comes to mind..) Forget co-op. Get work with one of the endless startups instead. And if you're medical you won't have to go further than K-W anyway

Bhai it's abosolutely false that the location of Waterloo, kitchener, is not preferred by students. It is the start-up hub of Canada. Many companies like blackberry are based in Kitchener. For STEM students Waterloo degree is a gem.

AP is valid for Waterloo, but not all courses. i.e. AP Calculus BC is accepted, but AP Calculus AB is not.

@@aryankarthik5378 Hey Aryan, u of waterloo for undergrad is definately competitive, but it depends on program. But, it is totally worth it because of their huge co-op program. Make sure which ever program you are selecting for u of waterloo, it has co-op. For growth and learning, it is excellent university. Fees is on higer end. But, again with co-ops and scholorships, I think it would be managable.
