I’d love to get to the Palouse someday. I saw a glimpse of a Cat 60 and I think I heard it in the background a couple times. I have mostly Cats but I wanted an IH crawler. I got a T340 a couple years ago and in spring I got a 40s TD9 so that cured that itch. Thanks for posting.

In the Pacific Northwest on the Palouse the farm county is very steep hills. Crawler tractors were the best way to farm the hills and not slide off or trip over.
Not entirely sure but most farm cats have the original tracks on them still or maybe one new set. Really depends on the soil conditions they work in or how hard they are pulling.
