Did someone miss that at the moment the narrator says to "set" the park brake, the driver is pushing in the park brake knob. wonder how many trucks have rolled away!
My dumb ass thought the yellow outline that says "Exhaust Filter" was a warning, until I looked closer and realized there wasn't actually a caution light illuminated 😂😂😂
Thanks. Now I know my regen system is just broke. I push the button and nothing happens other than the flashing indicator light lol. We've just been leaving it idled up manually while parked to do a regen flush this whole time lol.
Does anyone have an idea how I can do a regeneration for a gear that does not have Park ? I usually put it on neutral and pull the parking break . I tried it that way and nothing comes up .
@@fivestar000 no I didn't. While driving the orange triangle came on and the truck shut down. It then did a ReGen on it's own. I lost days work because of this. I sold the truck after.
@@brownie4me okay I’ll try to take my to the dealership to see if they can do it. Mine the temp dpf came on for 5 seconds then stops it doesn’t stay on
This isn't true. I just did a parked regen 30 minutes ago with full air. It makes no sense that they would design it to only work when low to the ground. The exhaust can exceed 1,500 degrees.
my DPF comes on the dash so i came home parked and i push the park regeneration button it lights up the dash says its activate and the engine is still idle as normal.. it normally starts rite away but now nothing...
Hi. guter Beitrag! Danke! 👍🏻 Hast du schon mal jenes Aktivwasser aus einem Wasserionisierer jemals recherchiert? Dieses Getränk ist einfach geil! ✌ & Wasserstoff powered die Mitochondrien
What does it mean when hot exhaust light comes on. Can you do a forced park regenerate if it doesnt need it. Cause i cant get mine to come on. Ive had the truck 4 days
@@LifeofErin1 The only way it works on my truck is when the shop does it with the computer. I read on an international forum that its a common issue apparently the wiring for the regen runs under the driver floor board and corroded making it not work.
Racing Slippers Well my engine isn't derated at all. The truck throws SPN 3464 whenever it tries to do an OTR regen and that is for an ITVH OCC that sticks open. It goes away once we restart the truck. My dealer has told me not to worry about it until it happens every time we use the truck....that makes me more worried :/
@@fivestar000 yeah. If I recall correctly we had to replace the DPF filter as it was overloaded. Too much city driving/idling. I have since moved this truck to a highway route and have less DPF problems with it but I just buy older pre DPF trucks now.
