Only a minority of Sicilians are connected, if you know what I mean. I pondered where my prejudice came from and realized it was a movie & an opera that were to blame. Godfather I said that Sicilian women were more dangerous than shotguns. Cavalleria rusticana In some ways was dedicated to proving Sicilian women are more dangerous than shotguns. Since everything I read indicated Barbara Fedora was more dangerous than a shotgun, I made the false mental leap that I did. I sincerely apologize to the people of Sicily.

For real, this video is the perfect example of how good Erik's lessons are. He could've taken the easy way and simply make fun of Karens with the hundreds of compilations; instead he showed how both sides end up being absolutely stupid - first the Karens, hateful by definition, then the incels who think death threats and misoginy are a fair response and don't realize they're acting the same way as the person they're criticizing. Better yet: Erik's humor and sarcasm protect the lesson from being a boring moral stand or something like that - it's just funny, he just makes fun of all that stupid shit, and it's *all* stupid

Humans are compelled to create narrative. Every culture creates heroic archetypes to embody the values of that culture. Karen is a sort of archetype as well, thought her role is an antagonistic one. She is the antithesis of the hero, representing what we perceive as detrimental to our society. Karen is an important figure in our modern folklore; a reflection of who we don't want to be. That says a lot about us. I for one feel Karens should be given a curtain amount of forgiveness and understanding, because not doing so would be a total Karen move. Also male Karens are just called "Karens." Everybody knows that.
