Their musicianship is unsurpassed and this video really brings that out. It's great to get such a close view of Sam's drumming. He is otherworldly fantastic. I don't know how his arm doesn't fall off. Brandon actually harmonizes quite well with Paul on this. The last 2 minutes of this song are bliss. I could listen to him sing that line forever. But, Paul should not wear trucker hats.

@@jdg1251 it’s really not though. Not that layered or challenging to play. The only remotely challenging part would be Sam’s drums, which aren’t that impressive for him or any other drummer. As for Paul and Daniel, Daniel’s stuff isn’t very difficult for a guitarist to play, and Paul isn’t a great guitarist overall. Not that layered and nothing rhythmically complicated.

He's hitting the rim with the butt of the stick for a fuller sound as opposed to the high-pitched sound of the head hitting it. Drummers do it whenever they want that particular sound.

Great live performance! Brandon isn't on the new album though, I think Paul does all the new albums backing vocals and they hired him for the tour. He isn't a bad singer, he's pretty good, it's just that his voice doesn't compliment Paul's or sound like it should be with Interpol.

Nice version of a brilliant song! Ik think this time Paul's guitar is dominating from the middle of the song. (Still i like the the version with the other guitar dominating better). Live in Amsterdam 2010, it was surely one of the highlights!
