This remix grew on me after 1 listen due to how different it is from the other material this band makes, including their other remixes. Interpol found the right band to have remix a cool song. My favorite thing is how it doesn’t sound like the original but has a similar feel/notes/lyrics. A bold move that strangely and strongly works. Props to both bands for delivering something different and cool. (Side note) Water From Your Eyes has toured with Interpol, I was lucky enough to see them perform separate sets before Spoon all in the same night. inb4 someone calls people Interpol gatekeepers for expecting an artist to not release complete garbage that has their name on it. If you collab, it's perfectly okay to say it didn't work out, respectfully.
The first and third Interpolations were pretty good both as songs and incorporating the song it was remixing. The second one was just a no effort job,. This fourth one doesn't incorporate the original song well, but overall sounds interesting.
