This is the last movie I saw with my Dad before he died. Every time I hear this song I imagine him on the other side of the bookshelf sending me codes.

Anyone else that has been thinking about this movie non-stop after watching it... I am so amazed by it. Best film ever in my opinion.

Fun fact: Since the release of 'Interstellar' in 2014, only about 49 minutes have passed on Miller's planet.

Its been 9 years, and I probably won't watch a movie as good as interstellar in my life.

Hans Zimmer is a fucking genius

I used this song to study and do my assignments all throughout my undergraduate years. As a graduate student now, I still come back to this song for help and concentration on my studies. Thank you, Interstellar. UPDATE: I find myself once again listening to this song as I'm currently writing my capstone. I graduate this December 2023 and have secured a good paying job for early next year. For those who also listen to this song for their studies......keep moving forward. Good luck everybody. I doubt many will read this, but this song inspired me to write this. Time is one of those strange things in life. It is constant. Always passing by you. An invisible force that in our world we can't see. Maybe one day we will be able to traverse time, like we can our other dimensions. Until then, live in the moment. Enjoy your moments you have with friends, family, strangers. Enjoy the seconds, minutes, hours, days, months, years, decades, and your life. Try and impact as many people as you can. Interact with everyone. You never know whether that person walking on the other side of the street will be your best friend or not. Live and cherish every part of time, for one day, our time will be up, and nothing will be left of us but the feint memory of us that lives in those we have touched.

I wish that i could delete my memory so that i could watch this movie again and again.

This movie literally blew me away. Never in my life have I experienced the emotions I experienced watching this at the cinemas. I was holding the char handles like I was on the fucking spaceship. Made me laugh cry and gave me Goosebumps every 10 minutes. I am a Mechanical Engineer. Already obsessed with movies related to engineering, science and sci-fi but this... this was fucking insane. Remarkable

It's not just a normal music. It explains the world. It explains how much beautiful this universe is. It explains the vast stretches of time. It explains reality. It explains love.

I'm watching this movie in 2024. I don't know who will see this after a few years, but this movie and this soundtrack will not lose its status!!!

I showed my father this movie. He had no basic interest in this movie by itself, but he was crying like a baby at the end of the movie. What a masterpiece by Nolan and Zimmer

What makes me sad, is that i believe, I will never ever see a movie like this again, or anything that will make me feel like this movie has.

Honest answers only, would you all have thought it was as fantastic of a movie as it was if the soundtrack wasn't as good?

“Dont let me leave Murph!” Gives me chills every time

This movie without Hans Zimmer wouldn't be half that good. I play this soundtrack often before going to sleep.

This movie is a roller coaster of emotions. I cried like two or three times. Amazing soundtrack!

This music is a solid representation of of the english word wonder. Humanity has always been stuck between our animal instinctive behavior and our conscious thought. Our mind is something that we use on a daily basis, and yet we barely understand the machinations of it. It is the creator of our reality, perception, and experience with the world. It causes us our most anguish and brings us the most joy. You can only WONDER if the mystery of the brain can ever be explained by other brains. I really don't know, and maybe i'm rambling, but perhaps if you're reading this, maybe we are one in the same? identical in every way, just experiencing the world in different places. Time will tell...or maybe time is the tell.

The “Don’t let me leave Murph” part is just heartbreaking, it was Cooper’s last chance to make things right for Murph because he knows he failed her but he couldn’t. As well as the shots and Hans Zimmer’s amazing music in this movie just adds so much in that scene.

This movie is seriously underrated

I put this song on just now to go to sleep, and it triggered my brain to think deeply about life, feeling more, laughing more, and letting go of what is holding me back. This song brings me closer to my dreams, knowing that there’s nothing I’ll ever fully understand. This music makes me feel small but not significant. It Reduces problems and gives me one direction: be. This song is my reminder to simply be....

I feel like this music represents how simple and tiny we are compared to space and how little we know about the universe. Similar to a simple melody played to a baby who knows nothing of the world yet. It's so eerie but so beautiful.

It's fun how people commenting on Interstellar-Videos are always soooo nice to each other. Everybody catches onto the vibe. And I love the fact that I've seen the movie a couple of times now, but still want to run it again, when I come back here.

I watched this movie on a flight back from Florida to Detroit when our first daughter was about 14 months old. This score and the movie had me balling so many times. My wife, sitting next to me, was like "what the hell is going on?" and I could only say to her "This score, this movie, I can't describe it"

This has been on repeat for the past months. Only thing that really calms me and gives me a peace. It just has so much different emotions. Really helped me mentally and while going through physical illness. Thankful for Nolan and Hans Zimmer!

If he had S.T.A.Yed, he would not have relayed the required data from the black hole. And that means humanity gets run over by the blight. So, the moral of the story is DO NOT S.T.A.Y. We are pioneers and explorers.

This music just goes to the soul...I cannot express my feelings when I hear those notes and yet they evoke something so deep in everyone. Hans Zimmer just made probably the closest tune to me.

I gave up on computer science, and started doing astrophysics recently. What an interesting field to explore.

There is something about this track, something distinctly different from the other tracks in the Interstellar OST. Aside from peace and serenity, it makes me really think about what life really is. We are humans in the vastly expending universe, but for what purpose? Are we the only planet that has life like us? Why can’t we understand more dimensions? So many questions but I think they’re not meant to be answered. I wish I am able to be immortal so I can see the progress of humanity and what we have learned about our place in the universe, or rather just reality. It’s 2AM, now my mind is racing. My sister died unexpectedly 5 years ago. This song makes me think of her.

2023 and I come back to hear this. First I'd listen to this simply because it was a beautiful soundtrack, then this sound became an ode to missing my father, then it became my only safe space in a really unhealthy relationship. Now it's 2023 and I'm sitting here at my work place where I finally get to be independent. For the first time in my life my single parent mother, doesn't have to pay my bills. I am receiving all my blessings, I am allowing myself to feel all emotions, uncomfortable and comfortable. As soon as I feel a negative emotion I say "I give myself permission to feel this" I automatically ease out of it, give yourself permission. When something good happens I immediately thank the highest power, the universe, whatever you believe in. We have a palette of emotions. We must understand ourselves, we must be patient. Time is divine, allow yourself to be open and watch molecules open up in your body that were just waiting for you to activate them, to allow them to flow as they would because your body is their home, they know you, trust your intuition, you are divine, you are a powerful manifesting vessel.

This soundtrack and movie are absolutely incredible , the way it makes me think about life in its entirety with memories flashing through my head with a feeling of loneliness.. like everyone I love is gone already and idk if I'll see them again , crazy how one song can make you think of that

This piece is SO emotional. I have no idea how Hans Zimmer put so much emotion into this. Every time I listen to it, I always think of my own relationship with my dad and how he has shaped my life. Ive cried pretty hard listening to this and it will always have a special place in my heart. Without a doubt Interstellar is my favorite movie of all time and its sound track is also my favorite of all time. It never grows old. Never.

Growing up my mom always put the dishes upside down. I asked her why, she said because her mom did it (her mom died 20 yrs ago). Family mystery for decades, then I saw Interstellar. Grandma lived through the dust bowl in Nebraska in the 20’s. Mystery solved.

I just graduated college and wanted to thank you posting this, as it has been my only music i have listened to for studying and doing school work since I was a junior in High School.

This movie is my favorite movie of all time. The entire thing leaves you thinking, and makes you want to know more about the universe. I don't think it got the recognition it deserves, because simple minded critics didn't understand it and didn't care enough to try. The entire movie is a paradox, and Nolan sets it up perfectly. There was so much work put into this film and its sad to see that it didn't receive the applause that it should've, because it was to complex for the majority of people.

sometimes i think why we spend so much time doing nothing and spend our lifes just to get a house, a job, money, when there is an entirely huge world out there. Even in our planet, there is so much thing to see, to see how beautiful the world is, what is life, what is earth. Imagine, we spend almost all our life just to act like goats in a herd, called city, while we are capable of such great things. Think about ceasar, napoleon, colombus, like these man did such great things, they changed history, they discovered the unknown, and we just sit in our chair today in a office and start to do a useless job. We only have one life, so why we use it this way? When i die, i want to die happy about all the things i did, everything i saw. We got a whole universe to explore, a whole world. Imagine what is out there, what things that are in such a huge place, and i say it again, a HUGE place. Space is such a beautiful thing. If i could, i would give all the money, all the shit i buyed, my car, my PC, my tv, my job, to explore the space. Because whe wil be someday at the end of our life, regreting that we didn't did nothing. Sometimes i think, what new type of life is out there, because our definition of life is related to our planet. Someday the human being will not be on this planet, and i will think, what we did to save our name. What the next kind of beings will think about us when our cycle in this planet ends. They probably will remain of us like we remain the dinossaurs. We can't waste our time remaining on this planet. It won't last long and ever worse, we can't spend our time we got of life. We are made to do big things, huge things, that is why we have a brain, but instead, we waste our life in this shitty system of study, work, and die. We only have 1 life, as i already said. Always when i go to sleep i think of what we can do and what will humanity do. Just look from what we come from. We where hunters, and now we are just nothing. Our life isn't nothing compared to what modern society thinks. Think about egypt, rome, china, greece, japan. Such great civilizations, and when you look at it, it looks so impossible to be done, so hard, but if you look closely, they where built by real people, individual people, that changed history. My point is that we are capable of doing such big things and we got a clock over our heads. When we least see it, this clock ends, and it happens when we least waist. When i die, i hope the kids of my son will remember me, and the kids of the kids of my son still read about me in school. I dont want to waste the single life that nature gave to me, god knows why. If we are given this life, is to do big things. Sorry if my comment is big, but i want to change the way that you that reads me thinks of spending the rest of our life. My grandpa, when was in his deathbed, said that i should live without regrets, and without fear. He said he regreted about not doing nothing in his life, and that when he was young, he thinked that he was immortal.

The interstellar soundtrack is a true master piece

If you are watching this at night, get up pull back the curtains and stare into the strange, black, deadly, beautiful abyss known as space and realise our existance is tiny, as you see the stars and realise each one is the size of our sun. Then you realize in the distance there is other galaxies, maybe even other universes which we can only fantasize about visiting and discovering awaits us. Space is the final frontier and we may never fully understand or conquer the blackness but we will keep trying until the end........ 🔆 🌏
