Never fails to hit in the feels. From "Dad abandoned us" To "Dad's gonna save us" To "Because my dad promised me" And the relief Cooper shows on hearing that. Literal tears man.
Initially I saw the movie at the cinema and did not cry but I was very close, BUT, a month ago I remembered about the movie and watch it again, on netflix, at home. The thing is that around the half of the movie, my 10 years old daughter enter the room and sit down beside me.That moment changed everything in me! Only then I connected the real dots and realised that the tears in my eyes are for myself, for spending so much time working away from home days at the time, missing my family and not having some time for myself, to relax or have some fun, without thinking that in fact I am hurting my daughter not having me around her on the most important stage of her live. I feel a lot of guilt that I did not realised this earlier on my own but I am happy that I intersected with this movie and the universe set the perfect moment for my daughter to sit next to me, almost like a divine intervention, one hard slap witch straightened me out, not being to late and making me to S.T.A.Y. at home as much as I can. I am still crying even when I hear the music, even in public, when I am in the club and I hear the remix of this track (Time- Not Alone) and I am happy that I am a sensitive man and I am not afraid to show that my feeling for loved ones are strong in me.
Whenever I feel lonely, I listen to this and imagine myself in the space alone, only with my memories. Then I feel stronger. I feel the nature. I feel how my existence means a lot to the universe. Without me, the universe is one soul less. To all who are reading this, Do no waste your life. Do good to others. It will come back to you.
I really love the idea that the real villain in this movie is an abstract entity: time. It allows for a more complex storytelling perspective. Time can not be stopped. It can not be reasoned with. It can not be run from. It can not be defeated. Time is merciless.
Because it is an abstract concept/entity, time is running on us like fish in the water that's why we cannot sense it nor comprehend its nature but just to go with it like branches in the river...
Time is indeed the real villian... time is that abstract villian for everyone... Think of that person we assume to be cold...but once he was one of the warm nd kind person...and yes time changed ... Time destroyes...it's our hope that time heals but time only makes those pain worser...
I went 2 times. To IMAX, although it wasn't in 3D but it was on that MASSIVE screen. The black whole scene and when they travel trough wormhole was MIND BLOWING.
@@anomalija6469 I saw it in IMAX a couple times as well and omg the speakers, every time the organ played in the soundtrack it'd literally shake the whole room lol. One of the few movies I'd say are truly IMAX worthy and also worth watching multiple times.

Wow, that exactly I felt! When I first watched this movie in 2014, I wanted to have a daughter one day. It is now 2021 and I have my toddler daughter, my world. The pure love she shows makes me a better man every day.
You know what ? This type of masterpiece is made once in a decade or maybe a century. It is one of the greatest movie I've ever seen. Nolan is one of the best director and Hanz Zimmer is a legendary artist
No other movie like Interstellar made me feel so small and made me question in such a way my own existence. True master piece and my favorite movie of all.

I fucking love this movie and the soundtrack is perfect. People say Inception is better... I like Inception, it's clever and interesting, but Interstellar got to me in a way Inception didn't... Some moments I'll never forget. So glad I was able to see it on the big screen.
Ping M. Y. Guys, I love Interstellar, it was my favorite movie of 2014 but Inception is a Masterpiece, Nolan's best movie and one of the best movies of all time.
Love. Nolan made it explicitly a theme in his movie as an almost physical entity that travels time and distance. But I did not really feel it as a connecting force between those two characters. That aspect of the story - although I understand why it matters in the narrative - never resonated with me. I am a huge fan of this movie but that is the only blight on it.
INTERSTELLAR maybe be one of the greatest sci-fi movies ever made.. But the real story of this masterpiece is in the above picture. It is just a story of love of a father towards his daughter.. And an unending trust of her daughter. Pure masterpiece. No film will ever be able to beat this genius. ❤❤ lots of love to the makers.
I feel like this movie resurfaced and breathed new life into that love for space and that curiosity we all had as children. Something that is beaten out of us in the transition to adulthood because of societal beliefs and the "norm"

I loved the movie as well. I watched it with a few guys, who understand a lot about physics, so it was Kind of anoying, that they tried to explain everything to me, while I was just enjoying the movie, but it was still awsome.

It was a great movie. It has generated an interest regarding space in me and it's growing stronger with every passing day. I have started studying Einstein's Field Equation String Theory and Relativistic Mechanics.
The whole film gave me goosebumps .. entirely... I felt as though someone in a starship was looking at me, through a lens , looking at the film, listening at the ideas that were being generated and then looking at my thoughts about the ideas in the film.
I didn't know about this movie seriously. I lost my dad from 1 month ago and suddenly I was watching the tv and I watched the movie. I felt like it was a sign, i wish I can see my dad again. He sacrificed in his life for his children, just like cooper but yea in a different way and then he left.. But my dad didn't come back. I cried.. So touching. Thank you

The soundtrack of this movie is so hauntingly beautiful. One of Zimmer's best works, if not THE best. The movie and the soundtrack gives you a sense of emptiness when thinking about how insignificant we and Earth is/are in the grander scale. Compared to galaxies, black holes, quasars, stars, light years, astronomical units etc., we are just a small rock in the endless sea that is the cosmos. But maybe that's why Earth itself is so exceptional and worth fighting for. It's rarity and perfection. Imagine if we were just a few million miles too close or too far from the Sun? Earth orbits in a perfect place in our solar system and it's going to be a long time until we find one like it.
when they told hanz zimmer to compose the soundtrack, they didn't tell him anything abt it, not even the genre, they wanted him to use every drop of his imagination without being restricted by anything....and they were right...and he produced a masterpiece

I was unhappy and depressed then suddenly the great Christopher Nolan heard me and made interstellar and now see me i am happy. At the end nothing mattered except Cooper,Brand,Murph and me crying
I remember watching this scene and crying so hard because it reminded me of when my dad left and had to move across the country and i couldnt go with him, he was my everything. I relate to Murph in so many ways and thats just one of them.
My husband and I are in two different countries due to immigration issues. I get to see him only twice a year. I love him so much. He holds me in his sleep because he never wants me to go back home. We dance to songs in his kitchen, go to cafes and drink coffee, go to museums where we see ancient civilizarions through modern day eyes. I will do everything I can to bring him home even if I fail.
Everytime I watch this movie I feel the connection murph had with her father...I love my dad a lot...he 78...fighting against cardiac ailments...I personally attend him...he has become my son...my father my strength the only man in my life....there's no one like a father in a daughter's life...we are fighting this battle together...

I have watched this movie over and over again and every time I watch it, I feel very different emotions. The emotional bond between Murph and Cooper is overwhelming. Whenever I get despondent, I find myself listening to the soundtrack of this excellent movie. The best movie ever made. Thanks Nolan.
As someone who does psychedelics this movies a freakin trip. All time favorite movie. When they get stuck on the planet and lose decades. Then the 5th dimension space and time. I’ve seen some shit man. Love this movie. Nothing beats it

I have a daughter, thank God. When I watched this movie it hit me too hard, cuz many times I had to leave her keep waiting for dad ,,, business I keep telling myself actually I hate myself leaving her anytime. Time never comes back ! Cherish your children when they they are small kids/ cuz at that time all their world is you. Don’t take away.
When I’m playing with my young son, I imagine myself when I am an old man. And I imagine how much that old man would give to be playing with his young son again. And I savor the moment. It’s as close to time travel as I’ll ever get.

In all of my years I have never seen a movie quite like this the music is fantastic the acting is fantastic or shall I say STELLAR!! There is something magical about this movie maybe it's the fact that the music was produced inside of a church maybe the hand of God has something to do with this. I ride around in my car listening to the soundtrack. This is the best movie ever.Oh yes I have seen Furious 7 and it is a good movie it is what I call a caveman movie full of action not cerebral can't touch Interstellar creative wise.This is a very special Movie.

It is so good to find these comments here, ever since I was a little kid I used to spend hours looking at cosmos pictures from science magazines, I do remember that I Saw a nebula image and a Lot of stars inside being created. It is harder than It seems to actually find people like me who loves everything about outspace. I do suppose that our fascination towards space is actually an human characteristic, we are pioneers, we wont ever be happy with what we got now, we need to discover more, develop more and then become something more, It sure sounds greedy but that is Just our nature, we have to embrace what makes us unique.

There are a handful of films that have have blown my mind in the Cinema and this was one of them. Omg the sound, score, story. i left that theater in AWWEEEEE.
Even if there will ever be any movie better than Interstellar (on the basis of so-called standards set by so-called experts), I'll always consider Interstellar as the best movie I watched in my entire life. Interstellar has a special place in my heart.
