The Intervales State Park, located in the municipality of Ribeirão Grande, was created in 1995 and together with the parks PETAR, Carlos Botelho, Nascentes do Paranapanema, APA dos Quilombos and part of the APA Serra do Mar, protects the most important ecological corridor of the Atlantic Forest of the State of Sao Paulo. There is a great diversity of amphibians, birds, reptiles, insects, fish and mammals.
In this video we can admire the Mirante da Anta trail (with moderate difficulty and self-guided), Stone pool, the Path of the Lakes, the Stone Castle, the Chapel of Santo Inácio and the Palmito Trail.
The park has 4 inns, namely Pousada Pica-Pau, Pousada Onça-Pintada, Pousada Lontra and Pousada Esquilo.
