Michael J.Krawczyk transferred from the Forward Operational Base #1 (FOB#1) Hatchet Forces to join Spike Team New Jersey in November / December 1968. He took the 1-1 (One-One) position with Audley Mills the 1-0 and William Phillips the 1-2. Michael Krawczyk held the Assistant Team Leader position until January 1969 when the team was reassigned to Command and Control North (CCN). This was an extension of Michael's first tour with the 101st Airborne Division. Sergeant (E-S) Krawcyzk processed out of the Army in May 1969 after three years' service with nineteen months in Vietnam. Michael later accepted a position with the Porter County Sheriffs Department, Valparaiso, Indiana and retired as a Sergeant in 2007.
