The chemical trap problem vs wesker & chucky is just a matter of choosing the right pallet still. They will both ignore a trapped god pallet, but a trapped junk/rock loop would be much worse for pallet vaulting killers
They both still play it just need to not vault to but yes so loops they do still need to break pallets this is true. Wouldn't even call it a problem it's just something that can happen and why it any many perks are not used due to being situational
I think STBFL is flawed by design, the hit cooldown system is in place to ensure that the survivor speed boost creates a soft reset to your chase where the next tile can be reached, but high stacks of STBFL create pseudo-dead-zones in the map where there are still resources available. This feels realllllllly good as killer, but i dont think it feels fair either imho. What i’d do to change it is buff the counterplay in a way that rewards precise and agressive hit-tanks from your obsession. Make the killer lose 3 stacks for hitting the obsession while healthy, and 2 stacks for downing them. That way if the obsession manages to reset without getting hooked they can come back and hit tank for another 3 of your stacks, but if you down them the penalty is lessened.
