Great interview Dan and thanks to Ashley for it. I have downloaded the album and I absolutely love it. Followed Ashley's music right from "Dive bar" and I am so pleased she has "made it" however ..... My wife bought tickets for my birthday to see Ashley in Manchester (England). I was horrified and eventually walked out 2/3 of the way through. Whatever possessed Ashley to deliver that set in a grungy uni campus which was so unlike her roots ? It was rock music and nothing like I knew and loved. I was sooo disappointed - mostly for my wife who walked out after about 15 minutes, mostly because of the venue. I really am looking forward to seeing Ashley again but rest assured it will not be at some kind of pretend rock gig - simply because Ashley is way better than that. I was expecting the kind of show that Brothers Osborne delivered in Birmingham earlier this year - utterly fantastic. So please Ashley, come and show some more Brits what you actually do in America. A Lindeville tour would be great.
