Watched him and his horse working in competition and they were one unit, his horse looked like a hunting dog keeping his eyes on the prize, found that very impressive, that speaks of hours and hours of training and work, gotta admire that dedication

He was the youngest of the young cowboys who accompanied John Wayne fifty years ago in The Cowboys.

He's the same age as my older brother. Was a fan growing up watching in movies and playing a young love interest to "Laura" on Little House on the Prairie. Congratulations to him on this honor.

I used to follow Clay when he was an actor back in the early to mid 70s . Of course his biggest success was in the John Wayne film ",The Cowboys " . He also did a couple of Disney flicks " The Wiz Kids and the Mystery At Riverton in 1974 and The Whiz kids the Carnival Caper in 1976 . He also played Weedy again in the Television version of the Cowboys. Which unfortunately was canceled after several episodes in 1974 . Robert Carradine was also in the series .
