Uh yeah I was 33 (two years ago) when I started listening to Manson seriously-and by seriously I mean every album front to back in chronological order. Been obsessed since day one, just such a shame im so late to the party 💙😓
Ah babe, I think u’ve confused ur attraction for him w/ him being objectively attractive, which he is not. Talented maybe, a gifted promotional business man, absolutely! But as for being genuinely attractive, that’s a no for sure. And he’s actually a trash human so that makes him really truly ugly!
Yea now I don't like him at all I don't even listen to his music anymore it's trash and the way he treated and abused those women is fucked up and fucking disgusting so no he's got nothing good on him anymore
what are with all these ppl calling him fat je sus //facepalms// you do understand he was 43 here right? Not 21? uh...nvm. I think he's perfect and extremely intelligent, let alone adorable!~
I used to see him at clubs when I lived in fort lauderdale, my friend was friends with him i had no idea who he was all my friend kept referring him to was Brian we are going to go see my friend Brian's band. We went to a place called the edge and he came out on stilts and put on an amazing show I was from that point on a life long fan. Sweet dreams then came out and he blew up. A couple years later I moved back to boston and saw him on the antichrist superstar tour again amazing a true artist, amazing performer, brilliant
I agree, it seems Manson isn't possessed. the devil knew Marilyn was talented and God can use him in a great way and seems Manson went with the Devil's lies.
When someone is possessed is because they weren't talented and then stepped up to the Devil. But it seems the Manson was already gifted and the Devil stepped up to him.
Goddamn, Ive always liked Mansons music, am not a fan in the disciple kind of way, but I felt the hunger , the sin and I think that its beautiful, coming out of such an intelligent and spiritual guy. Before the internet boom there was not much info and connection with your favourite artists and most of the shit came out the grapevine but now hearing him with the sincere genuine introspection and I like him even more. I feel that Manson is a child with a very sensitive soul and warm heart, and his extreme expression is a medium to connect the inner world of his and the ugly fake plastic imaginary world outside. A truly walking piece of art this guy. A gem. Contradictory. Spiritual and carnal, tranquil and screaming, soft and hard. Damn, guess I am a fan now
He is so spot on when he is sober. I love him. Watching this video and all, book, concerts, everything makes me think that all those kids slagging him and beating him up as a kid must be feeling bad. He has had the last laugh! He is handsome, cool, successful, famous, rich, and they are not! Bravo! Good for him.
just cause he isn't exactly how he used to be doesn't mean he's a whole new person, he just got older. as human beings do, he's still as awesome as he was 20 or so year ago! + love his wierd off-beat humour
This man makes me happy that i have depression, cos he says things i can't say and when he says them it seriously lifts me and makes me happy to be alive :)
WOW im blown away of how a true creative genius he is!!! BEST interview iv ever watched in my life! Thank you so so much in uploading and doing this interview
I can relate to MM I try to avoid people usually crowds/groups. It's not that I dislike them I just feel socially awkward around them I prefer to be alone especially when I'm at work or doing errands. If I'm with a friend going to a party or club that's different cuz when I'm high or fucked up I could give two shits on what's going on around me lol
Man I wish he would hurry back to Texas to tour. It's been a while I'm getting impatient. He's my absolute favorite artist!!! Come on Manson come to Houston .....
I enjoyed the way he tied his painting style in with being either a barber or a pervert, or...! Ha! I REALLY like him; he's one of my most favorite people on planet Earth! He's a truly unique individual.
I love his artwork!! Watercolors are the best! Love the way it bleeds into the paper and the way it stains!!! Love that watercolor of his hairless cat!! AMAZING! I paint with watercolor also!! So I can definitely relate to him!!💯💯🤘❤️😝
He is often more serious about his art, then questions about his music. This is one of the more serious interviews I've heard. Still brilliant and different....Luv him so much!
I've have always liked Marilyn Manson, I'm a 50 year old grandma and I think he has a really beautiful heart he is a very smart man. He is a great performer and I like his music, back in the day Alice Cooper was demonized just like Marilyn. People need to love and accept people and stop judging others, it makes me sick the way people will label others.
If you'd watch a couple of his interviews, you'd know he's seriously not as weird as everyone believes him to be. He's actually amazing, and intelligent and really quite funny.
I would say that the question of why someone would ask about if you like art that's similar to yours, it's a question of do you have any peers. In growing up, I remember having friends, and we all liked similar types of the same type of music, and it was fun to engage with the different angles of an identical experience. That's the peer experience that the artist tends to miss out on when an artist forgets where he came from. That was why Kurt Cobain would talk about playing at small clubs so as to reconnect with the comradery experience. The intro to the song "Talk to Me," which was one of Kurt's best guitar riffs, said "we'd like to thank you all for coming tonight and letting us pretend that we're still underground alternative rock punk stars." It's that experience that made Kurt Cobain so popular, because it probably felt like an experience the audience could share with the artist. The theatrical experience of Marilyn Manson has that too, in a way. The rebellious instinct is an easily relatable emotion, but it's a cheap trick. The experience of the artist should be relatable, not just marketable.
He is one of the most well spoken intelligent people I have had the pleasure of listening to. And yes his sence of humor and sarcasm I can totally relate to. I agree with most things he says and I think if someone doesnt get him its because they are not intelligent. Anyone that has a brain in their head likes him. I absolutely love him. I just saw him at the Sunset Strip music festival and I thought I had dies and gone to wherever we go. It was one of the most amazing experiences of my life.
I have always wanted to meet this man. He thinks about things in a way I can understand. Most people you can't, they say things that they don't mean or say meaningless things. It is refreshing to hear someone that doesn't do that.
I know, it makes me sad when people insult him because of his weight gain, especially his so called fans. The guy's in his 40's now, cut him some slack.
No shit, it's so easy to gain weight when you pass 35.... A couple meatball subs and BOOM, pants don't fit anymore. Getting older and if you like to drink, ya gotta starve yourself pretty much to look good. 😭
