Bill always keeps it real. I appreciate how genuine he is. Mastodon and Ghost are two of my favorite "newer" bands (yeah, I know they've both been around a while but not compared to my all time faves).

The best thing about Mastodon is how humble the are... Bill talks like a regular human being instead of a "elevated celebrity " despite his status... Love these guys.

Compare this to an interview from any one from Metallica (nothing against those guys) but you can see how success has made the members of Metallica talk like they are larger than life... Mastodon is just/ nearly as successful and the guys always seem grounded. Always aware of their humanity.

Mastodon's greatnes is that they are unique, there's nothing like it! Besides being unique they are creatively brilliant, definitely the best band for me too!! Already saw them three times live, and expect to seem them at least 10 more!!

I think the thing I hate most about Ghost is the amount of people that try to convince me I'm wrong for not liking them.

I love them, but there is an annoying element of the fan base (but that comes with all bib bands). I think it's more than people think they are sonically bad that I don;t understand. I get if you don't like them, but they write well, produce well and put on a damn show.

Sooooo....when are you going to headline off Hushed and Grim instead of opening for some mediocre hokey band? It's like Slayer opening for Poison. Makes me physically ill honestly.
