I guess we just have to accept that music is part inspiration and part perspiration. There are bands that, under economic pressure or lack of passion, just hack out one song after another. Matthias is, as I can see from interviews, a serious and dedicated musician, that really wants the music to mean something more than tunes to run in the background while you drink beer. Some guys seem to create good melodies easily (like Söderburg of Amon Amarth). I think Matthias needs more time, however when something comes out, it is the best ever.
The album will be out when it is fashioned into the best thing that it can be AND NOT EARLIER :P Besides, there are enough great songs on the older albums to last for a lifetime of waiting for new ones...
They need new albums...like their themes have so much potential its a shame. It feels like sabaton in a way but for medieval age instead of early modern and modern
Strange... Looks like they really deleted all their socials... maybe they got hacked. Because according to the last post on their website, they are still active. At least the Webshop ;)
@@Plekvetica The webshop is definitely up and running, but all their socials are gone, including Mathias' personal account. We can hold onto hope, but it really does seem they called it quits lol
