I can see why people are attracted to Michael Singer. His ideas about self image are interesting. Our identity is formed by what we are able to control and what we are used to day to day. What Singer is talking about is developing a stronger inner awareness, so that significant outside changes cannot damage the inner self. With this greater self awareness comes the capacity to make better quality decisions.

Thank you!! Been working on releasing my blockages. It's been three years the justified anger hurt and so much pain!! I'm amazed I was able to contain so much. Used drugs to numb myself but never realized how much pain I was carrying around. This separation within my mind and my emotions!! Repressed memories of trauma created another personality within myself to protect my inner child. As I forgive and release I feel empathy and compassion for a woman who felt so unworthy of love. Black sheep trying to blend in to receive love but that peg won't go in. Doing it for so long I lost who I am. Today I AM ENOUGH!!Thank you for inspiring me to finally speak out and stand in my truth!! Used to hold on for dear life thru the storms.. Finally learning to dance in the rain!!! Love and light!!!

dyer, I have been a lifelong seeker. I have found Adyashanti, Buddha, Jesus, Mooji , Ramana, Prapupad, Tony Robbins, Eckhart Tolle, Caroline Myss, Wayne Dyer, etc etc etc.... But it took till 2019 to accidentally discover Michael Singer in the midst of yet another long bout of depression and anxiety. I just go with the flow, I'm not regimented, what gets done gets done, what doesn't is there for tomorrow. Thank you for organising and explaining some of my thoughts/feelings. x Very engaging to watch. x The only downside is those with a negative agenda see you as a walkover, accepting of everything, working on that, in the meantime I just say to myself OK, time to move away from the toxicity to somewhere more pleasant, bless them.

Can’t tell how often I’ve watched this... life changing! Thank you so much Michael! I really want to learn to live like this, from a place of consciousness, truly! And I’m paying the price already 🙈 life is not going how I expected it atm... well, we shall be carful what we wish for 😋 life may make it true, but to get there, holy shit... 🙈
@bigfletch8
@bigfletch8 2 года назад
Lisa, it is not life changing, it is illusion disappearing. Wanting requires future, but there is no future, just here and now. One thing many people love to do is to travel; to experience new places, the unexpected, but when we travel through life, we try to avoid the unexpected. Being carefull is the blocking as he said. It holds us back. 'Wishing for' restricts what will come your way , based on the time and level of consciousness when you made the "careful wish". That is equivalent of hitting the break on your car or even throwing it into reverse.

What you define and orientate yourself as originates from deep fear and anxiety, True spiritual realization is understanding that you can transcend fear by understanding that you have the power to look past it. Or as Singer says, you take down the walls and let the light in.

I lost my daughter May 6, 2020. If my world wasn’t already turned upside down due to CV. Everything on the outside of me was not matching the picture I had on the inside of me. In fact I feel like the picture on the inside of me has been wiped clean. The outside will never be the same. And I am feeling so unattached to physical places, people and things. I so want to find the true me. I have the urge to go sit with the yogis in a year long silent meditation. That’s silly to just want to quit my life like that. I am so alone though I am surrounded by many.

Yes, it is a pleasure to watch. I do like her intro which gives the flavour of how the interview is to be. The interviewer never once uses a phrase like "top author," or "bestseller": instead, she gives information (the number of sales), and lets anyone listening who hasn't heard about Mr Singer's books know that they help people, and have helped her as well. (I only heard about Untethered Soul a few days ago.) Love the low-key style: words that flow, and flowing with them, rather than getting distracted by a pitch, and having one's adrenalin stirred up. 🌞 Love it. Thanks

One important chapter is "contemplating death",, on that book. It should be done everyday. I repeat,, every single day,, to live life,, unattached. And therefore, without any stress. (Jiddu)Krishnamurti said it right,, "to live, to really live, is to die each moment". 🙏❤️ Death is a teacher, a blessing,, not a fearful entity. Infact, it's the ultimate antidote to all worries and fear. It's the flame of detachment while livin'. 🌹🌹🌹,,

@@reenasingh-id9zh I know that I personally struggle with envy and jealousy and I know that is because I compare myself to others. When I no longer do that, I know that I will have made great strides to being free. I was reading the comments and saw one person was 17 and was discovering Mickey's teachings. I immediately felt envy. I wish that I could just be naturally happy for others. Then I read a woman who was 73 and was just discovering Mickey's book and teaching. I thought well at least I am a little younger. That is me comparing constantly and it is extremely painful. He said a scenario where a poor man would only see his house and family and thought he was doing well. Now on RU-vid you can see much further than your own life. I know I do better when I stay in my own little world. As soon as I go out, I feel bad. I'm not as pretty, well-dressed, nice car, etc. Endless things to compare. I actually have improved with my anxiety, but seem like I have a long way to go. I want to get to the point that Mickey talks about. He reached the point where he is joyful and content. Ppl response to moments that are beyond their control is because we as ppl have programmed our minds to react to our emotions depending on the events or situations. For instance if something happens tragically we automatically feel the emotion of crying heartbreak pain break down and we say oh that's being human or that's a human nature reaction but is it truly a human nature reaction or is it the reaction we choose??because that's how we think we're supposed to respond to tragedy.

I read this book years ago. At the time I did not have any defined faith in God. Listening to this interview is bringing back what I had learned after reading this book. The love and peace inside is the Holy Spirit to me, I have given much of my attachment to this existence away. God is our creator and our soul is what lives on to eternity with Him. The human experience, our journey, many lessons to learn while in this experience. I have learned much of what Singer is talking about through my faith in God. However, he is teaching many souls an awakening and path out of this material world.

You don’t have a Soul.. you are a/the Soul.. - often we are paying attention to the object of consciousness rather than the seat of consciousness.. you are distracted by the bodily experiences.. away from your Soul… your actual self.. we develop a concept of ourselves… defining ourselves in relationship to our environment, family, objects.. and become a fallen.. lost Soul.. defining ourselves by our experiences and attachments.. you’re not the experience.. you’re the one that played/had the experience. -the ego is the facade that you pull over your consciousness to define yourself.. - you need things to be the way you think they are.. - deep fear that it will fall apart.. putting yourself out there.. presenting yourself to others.. fear of failure or rejection.. are you dealing w the core or the facade? Bodyguards… shield protecting Work on not hiding from yourself… w the self concept you’ve created.. motivated my true self, love .. not fear. embracing your true self.. motivated by love and joy.. path to peace is all understanding… This Points to the importance of being free to express you’re authenticity not ‘act’ to satisfy.. parents and society.. interesting to have a discussion w he and Gabor Mate’ I wonder lots o discussion here.. I don’t believe that all people live w so much fear… although we/most will sacrifice to gain connection.. Societal concept that you’ve not OK.. look inside not outside .. begin.. w little things.. that cause disturbance.. how to be OK w reality.. perception.. perspective.. Relax… when you notice discomfort… disturbance .. relax.. disengage from disturbance and eventually it will pass.. don’t use the world to define you.. challenge your ability to be yourself… Free will… you can choose the path.. (again I think of abuse beyond your control or choice that changes your path…. reality) Awareness of being is power.. your nature is: ecstasy joy love bliss light… You didn’t want to experience it, suppression.. and then it stays in there for years.. hold it inside.. “No experience is traumatic .. your inability to experience it is traumatic… “ I get suppression.. tho I have an issue w saying no experience is traumatic.. clinging and resisting… release the energy used by these things.. Abuse can take away your methods of healthy processing, destroy your home and means of living.. and having reaction to traumatic events is real. remove blockages and let energy flow .. You are infinite energy… Learn how to manage, release and use it.. chakras As you let go.. you become more open.. not letting disturbance run your life Relax and release.. if you accept the experience.. learn and go on… “No bad experiences, nothing wrong w something being uncomfortable” My feeling in response to that is the notion of you’re fortunate if you don’t relate.. can’t blame the experience 20 years ago.. it’s you.. didn’t let it be over “You choose to keep that inside of you and destroy your life” … I’m having issues w this… how about child abuse… Vietnam vets… sure there are deep.. intense, healing processes .. that we don’t all have access too.. also basic needs being met… Soo many so much advice is based on the assumption these things are met and the resources are available.. “Face the situation not the disturbance.. “ “Complete and whole within yourself you need nothing” .. no, we need healthy society.. community, environment.. diet… connection.. and to express our authenticity.. No end to the Joy and compassion… w/in the Divine. “If you’re conscious you’re capable of it” .. I feel that he isn’t taking into mind as he really invalidated.. extreme abuse.. trauma and ptsd.. can’t negate these experiences.. and many take extreme measure and resources to heal.. change your life.. energy.. take a whole lotta time away from.. experiencing ‘ecstasy and bliss’ “Consciousness is the beginning and the end.. it is an ocean… if you cease to focus it on things… your consciousness naturally expands.. “

The more we analyse the more we can't sleep and become silent because we answering too many questions and searching for answers of things we already know. The physical realm searches on dissecting on something that they can't fathom to find the answers- what is life? what is the soul? is this happening because of me? and the list goes on. Your mind is a memory and we are living a memory in different bodies and experience the circumstances of those different memories . Stop subjecting yourself of being dorothy falling down the rabbit hole and then asking was that a dream or real? You will never know till it hits you right in the face and then again, many will questioned, which one is real.

Also a good point, regarding how we conserve our energy. Negative energy can drain a person's soul very quickly.

The best interview that I've ever seen... Unlike Tony Robins and his wife atleast the interviewer let Micheal Singer talk. And it was amazingggggggggg listening to him. ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

Absolutely Love and Respect & Admire Micky Singer (not to imply the audacity that I have the right to call him Micky). It is also worth noting that Catharine Meyers appears to be a very sweet, beautiful human being. Never even heard of her before and I already admire her. Besides, a pretty face is simply a pleasant means to reflect inner beauty. :)
