Happy Vesak Day!
We are heartened to see many familiar faces return to the monastery after a two-year hiatus, and also welcome new friends to our celebration of one of the most important days in the Buddhist calendar.
Celebrations culminated in the long-awaited annual Light Transference and Aspiration-making Ceremony, 3-Step, 1-Bow Ceremony, as well as the overnight Vesak Carnival and Food Fair.
New highlights like the brand new Prajna Meditation Hall and magnificent Guan Yin statue stole the limelight with its iridescent pool alight with beautiful floating lotus lights.
Aptly themed “Gratitude”, we are thankful for the gradual easing of guidelines, guidance and counsel of our Abbot and Venerables, and also grateful for the patience and cooperation of our visitors and devotees, as well as hard work and contribution of our volunteers and staff, which made this event possible.
Together, let us share in the blessings of Buddha and the joy of the Dharma.

我们满心欢喜的在时隔两年以后看到许多熟悉的脸孔重返寺院。与此同时，我们也欢迎新朋友与我们一同欢庆佛历当中最重要的节日。卫塞节庆典在令人期待已久的年度传灯与许愿仪式、三步一拜及跨夜的卫塞嘉年华等活动中迎来许多的人潮。
光明山普觉禅寺也在这次的庆典中带来新的气象。与往年不同的是，这次在全新的般若禅堂及观世音菩萨雕像的池中，五彩缤纷的莲花灯在夜间闪烁，成为众人的瞩目焦点。
配合“知恩报恩”的卫塞节年度庆典主题，我们感谢逐渐放宽的防疫措施及方丈与法师们引导的同时，也不忘感谢访客与信众的耐心合作以及护法义工的无私贡献。在众缘和合的条件之下，这次的庆典才得以圆满。
这个卫赛节，让我们共沐佛恩、同沾法喜。
