I had an interview on Tuesday. I found out I got the job the next day. It was my very first interview in my entire life and got a job offer for 65k starting out. So for you guys that are worried, just try to relax, be vocal, be confident, and smile a lot! By the way, I watched this video the night before my interview.
Every time I have had to prepare for an interview, I ALWAYS refer to this video (the rest is usually just some person talking) I love the contrast to how most people would show up in an interview, in comparison to the way that you should show up as your best self. And every time I have shown up to an interview AFTER watching this video, I get the job. When i don't refer back to this video i tend to not get the job lol

This is the best job interview video, I have seen.. and really worth watching.... and it was like watching a movie... and message was so implied and clearly spelled out. Thanks to the team for putting such a nice well researched stuff and all the team members were very convincing and impressive for sure.
I am going to an interview tomorrow, and this may help me a lot. I know self-intro part is to tell the recruiter your work experience, your accomplishment, your skills, your passions, etc. Not how old you are, where you were born or grew up, your favorite food, book or TY show...
Not all the tips provided here would actually work, i think that sometimes you just have to be yourself and answer the questions as best as possible. One important point to remember about being impressive is not trying to, but only trying to answer the questions as honest and to the point as possible.
Sad part is: if you are an "introvert" most jobs overlook you right away. Networking is a nightmare - it seems everyone is only about themselves, such as what you can do for them, or perhaps if you can be a character reference for them. Granted few people will actually give you a reference, but during the interview - your quiet demeanor is a major "no" to them. Why is it so bad that I keep to myself? Bragging, lying, and who you know have become the norms for interviews. Why would you want to hire someone who is pretending - confidence does not mean they know what they are doing.
+Mia Tatman I was once asked why I was so quiet in an interview. The guy could barely speak proper english and he was so rude, ugh. The interview I have this week will be the first one since then. :-:

Victory of the Truth Honestly if they don't pick you for the job because they think you're quiet, it probably just wasn't right for you. Practice answering your questions beforehand, feel prepared, and you'll do great. My other interview went well and I got the job! Keep trying and you'll find someone who appreciates your personality for their company
5 years go I was living in Spain and planning to move to London. I used to watch this video over and over again but I think my understanding was only of 35%. The dream of living in London became true and today, even if my english is not perfect, I'm happy seeing how much I progressed, now I watch this and understand basically everything 🤗. This video makes me feel nostalgic for what it represents to me 💪

Just be yourself, there is no one better. About all you can do in life is be who you are. Some people will love you for you. Most will love you for what you can do for them, and some won't like you at all.

Also don't forget to write a great follow up interview letter, whether it's an email or a paper letter. That's your chance to review your strong points and suck up a little to the interviewer. This is a great video. This video is using a funny concept approach to allows to remember details needed to passing your upcoming interview. Viewers, zone in and focus on the questions & answers portions; you soon realize they provided you some solid answers. Regarding the salary question, try not to avoid this question at all. Do your research on the role you applied for, such as sales agent, IT manager, etc. I use salary.com and gave them the rate that generated there. When the interviewer asks the open-ended question, ”Tell me about yourself.”... You remember do not mention stuff listed on your resume. This is not 30 seconds answer neither. It the sales pitch question to open up and impress the interviewer. If you wrote many excellent cover letters, that cover letter is your answer to this open-ended question. Just break down under 2 mins. I must likely repost this video to a larger audience to assist people in nailing their dream job. Good work.
Introduce two characters with sexual tension you could cut a knife with. Provide excellent tips on do's and don'ts of job interviews, but forget to tell him that he needs to wear a suit and tie. Have one extremely awkward shot of the visibility of how the man is sitting on the grass. End charming video with poppy Christmas music.

Never cross your arms or hands like they are, it comes off stand offish. Always look your best. button your shit,wear a tie, sleeves down, sit up in your chair. Always turn a question in to a positive responce. (Tell us one of your weaknesses? I’m not much of a public speaker, but I have been working on it, by taking public speaking courses.)
No where in this this video does it mention dressing for professionally for the interview. This guy walks in with a sloppy shirt with long sleeves rolled up. Not exactly the appearance to land you the job.

Out of the 12 videos I've watched, this has been the best. Easy to follow and it puts the interview into real situation. I have never been in an interview like this one, but it is a good generalization.
This is why I prefer AmE and not BE, I find it difficult to understand when an English woman or man speaks quickly. The problem is they always speak too quickly ...

WHOLE TRUTH: If you are honest to the interviewers questions, they'll definitely decline your application. BUT when you makeup stories/lie to the interviewers, WOW - they actually love it. So basically they love a LIE, then an HONEST answer. Interview is about making up stories with your experience, THATS THE WHOLE POINT !!! IT WORKS !!!! 10000000%

He's underdressed (button your shirt, stud), a bit casual for an interview .. but .. i found this dialogue IMMENSLY helpful .. the contrast between the two interview styles, really highlights what a good interview comes across as .. and a not so good one. Very arrogant how everyone's talking, about the accent she carries. What does the accent have to do with an interview? Why click on a video, if you're not going to listen? This video was made to have those, who want to actually learn, listen to what is being said and stated with facts. Things like Do's and don't. Why does one's have to be such pathetical, arrogant and immature people? This video is made to show what to do and, what not to ever do. She is simply explaining those facts, to someone that didn't know anything. How does that simply state, she wants the D? Josh Jensen Not if he got that job right out of college and hasn't kept up with new interview practices since then. Things change all the time and most people don't practice interview skills until they're looking for a job.
Has anyone wondered how come the woman has spent so much time out with this guy? doesnt she have anything to do? or her confident brought her to the point she can do whatever she wants at her job position? or probably she was fired that same day and they were looking for another person to take her position. When asked about one of your weakness, reply with the fact that you ask too many questions, not that you wanna annoy your co-workers but you wanna learn more about your company's policies.
This was one of the best demonstrations of what not to do and how to correct it ever, I really felt like I could take away from this the corrections and employ the fixes! It wasn't cheesy but very well done. Thank you -
this one is much much better and entertaining, might i add, to watch! I've watched some videos here and they seem to me they just don't have the appeal to catch my attention.. great creativity and now I'm confident enough for my interview!
