My go to guy for great vids. new very little when I got my 65 convertible. My seats turned out amazing after your advice on your video. I'll be putting on a new top and headliner as soon as the weather gets a little warmer and I'm sure to be watching your top replacement video and referencing it. Thank you for all your good work and advice. I have been watching your RU-vid site since early 2018. You and your videos and my local bug mechanic have helped me immensely in getting our 68 bug back on the road. I would have had a hell of a time finding those special hard get parts if it wasn’t for your RU-vid site. Chris, thank you again.

Chris! I've been a fan of yours for a long time. Subscribed probably like 15 years ago. Love and appreciate every video you make, and I can't tell you how much you've helped me learn to work on my own bug. Currently doing a body-off-chassis restoration on my 1976 1600S (RSA). Keep doing what you're doing, and I wish you all the success and prosperity life has to offer!

Been a long time vw guy. Always will own one till I die. Currently in a nice 62 driving beautiful roads on Big Island Hawaii. I could never afford a proper restoration and just accept the way it is. I love being able to work on it myself.

Loved the interview and how down to earth you both are. Recently acquired a 1974 Super Beetle in honor of my dad who had one lined up for my first car, but being a teen, had my heart set on another car. Since he passed years ago, I vowed to get a Bug in his memory. Dad taught me all I know about good "back in the day'" cars. Next will be a 62 Bug for the year I was born, and because it was my parents 1st brand new car purchase when coming back to the states. VW's are the Best❣

I know Exactly what you mean, I have a Restored 58 Ragtop Beetle Deluxe, that draws crowds also! Last show I was at, there was a Lambo near me, and tons of people glanced at it, and the. Went right to my car for pics and conversations!! They have such a universal appeal, I’m not concerned about presenting mine at any event, it’s always welcomed with open arms.. love that about mine!.. Keep up the Good fight, and Open a Florida shop for certain!.. it could be huge!!! ☮️

Hi Chris loved your interview it's so true you can park a beetle next to a super car and people will be drawn to the beetle every one has a story to tell people can relate to the beetle your cabrio is beautiful could not have gone to a better home such an amazing story you are helping people to have their dream car

Chris, I’m on the Central Coast of CA. I just found a shop for repairs (they may do resto’s, but I’m not sure) on my ‘64 Bug. They specialize in vintage VWs and Porsches. The owner’s father is a British Sports Car shop owner who does restos and repairs on all kinds of European cars. The VW shop is “Westy Werks” and they are in beautiful San Luis Obispo. They’ve had my Bug for a week and it is ready for pick up today. I’m confident in this shop. They know what they are doing so you are not paying for their “education” on VWs. Feel free to make referrals to them. Just picked the Bug up. Drives like a Limo now. Almost no rattles or bangs,

Love your channel Chris; your knowledge and fantastic personality are great assets. Btw; the exhaust note on the car is pretty peppy. I know it’s an Abarth style exhaust; sounds like a modern Vintage Speed unit.
