I love him he hates interviews so much!

I have a portrait of Doug as Pinhead on my forearm - I have nothing but love and respect for this man, because when I was a kid, he scared the crap out of me. Even being a musician, and I'm aware it's different mediums, but I would love to work with Doug someday. He is the one and only - Pinhead is a god xD

Everything he said about remakes is spot on 1000%. They r just lazy thrown together trash seeking a quick buck off the hard-earned name and backs of the original.

Great Interview, Doug is such a nice person. Agree also to 100% to his opinion on remakes, really do not like it, make new stuff and NO PG 13.

COMPLETELY agree with him, though in the years since, the pendulum HAS swung back to more R-rated horror (THANK GAWD!) GREAT interview...he's not the most chatty subject, either, though not completely taciturn. I hope his health is doing better....

This and The Exorcist is the only movies I can NOT watch due to fear! It still scares me to death! Pin Head and his crew has to be the most scariest characters on any movie I’ve ever seen. Pin heads voice alone freaked me out lol

I agree with Doug about the pg13 horror thing and that we should go back to what it was. That started in the 90s and has gotten worse since. Life is horrific and doesn’t spare us any graces when it comes to visuals and certain scenes. So why should fictional horror attempt to do that?

Doug, if you ever look, just wanted to know how much I was afraid of you and the cenobites. The others rather bored me. Nobody could ever be the Pinhead you. I have had pneumonia /flu twice this year and lost the function of my left lung. I watch the movies all the time. Thank you for being the best horror actor of all time.

I get the impression that the interviewer isn't familiar with the Hellraiser franchise at all.

I'm hoping to meet him in March. I've never met a celebrity before and honestly I would be honored if he was the first one I met. He genuinely seems like a really sweet guy and funny.

Truth be told, all Hellraiser movies were mediocre at best. But they had some pretty powerful scenes in them.. but without Clive and Doug, there is NO HELLRAISER.
