I have seen so many social medias why they still do this to Palestine. It breaks my heart to see so many innocent Palestinian people have died by air strikes from Israeli military. People go to the university for safety, but even if notice is given, its basically like someone telling you that your home is going to be bombed and if you don't leave then that's on you, tough stuff. While antisemitism exists in the world, I can assure the first interviewee that the disdain for Israel emanates from a complex situation in which state-sponsored dispossession and military cantonization persists. So when 570 Dutch scholars and educators sign a petition to cut ties from Israel, does that come from prejudicial hate? It doesn't. The first interviewee says that its a complex situation but then fails to even explain or touch on it. Instead all she says is Hamas is bad, Israel is good, its so complex its that simple? Come on.

Basically Abraham was told by God that he would have a child. He laughed and his wife, Sarai, did too. They thought they were too old. Sarai told Abraham to have a child with her Egyptian slave named Hagar who was young. He did. That child was named Ishmael. He was the forebearer of the Arab people who are mixed Jews with Egyptian blood while Sarai actually got pregnant in her very old age and had a son named Isaac who was of full Jewish blood. Both mothers started arguing and fighting with each other and their sons picked up on that and started fighting each other too. The end result was Hagar and her son moved away to resolve the fighting. Since then the Arabs and the Jews have been at each other's necks for thousands of years.

I think it's interesting that a captured Hamas person admitted on video that the Quran states not to kill or hurt babies, women, elderly and disabled people but that their commanders told them to ignore what the Quran said and to be prepared not to come back and do whatever they wanted to the persons that they were going to kill. After the British left there, Israel was created in 1947. Since then there have been conflicts and wars to this date. We will never understand the causes and UN fails its efforts to maintain peace there. What is the solution?
Wish I could ask biblically questions… wars been going on far I can remember, Bible says there will be continued wars yet to come. Sadly it takes peoples life. Israel been defending for years… pray that there be longer peace till Jesus comes to rule . ( it’s in the Bible and truely believe it. )

The retaliation you're referring to was due to Israel's unnecessary power display raid of al-Aqsa on one of the holiest days of the year and harassed worshippers, took over the prayer loudspeakers to broadcast a speech, blocked off access to the Damascus Gate. This causes the retaliation of a rabbi being beaten, which caused a far right Jewish supremacist group to hold march through Jerusalem screaming "Death To Arabs!" THAT caused multiple fringe military groups, not one unified force, to fire homemade fertilizer rockets at Israel. Israel used this as an excuse to bomb Hamas targets they've been wanting to take out with their state of the art missiles from their military. Sure, people in Palestine fired rockets first, but the aggression and violence was inevitable and saying one side "started it" is kind of dumb. It doesn't matter.

Hamas started this war, hugely targeting civilians with torture and terrorist-style killing. I don't want anyone to kill each other, but I feel like so many people expect Israel to roll over and play dead, making themselves an easy target. They have a right to self-defense and shouldn't be criticized for defending themselves. Unfortunately, it's impossible for either side of any conflict to make war without harming innocent bystanders. Hamas was TARGETING civilians and torturing them, including those that were too young and too old to be a threat. I don't feel that's the same as normal warfare.
