Someone I knew took a bunch of acid and become convinced that all of his friends were gay, one after the other. I justed laughed it off thinking that he he couldn't be serious, but before not too long he became hostile and agressive against me as well and was convinced that I was gay too

He is articulate. Therefore probably very intelligent. But his delusions make me feel bad for him. You'll notice that throughout the interview there are instances where he starts to admit his instability and this is why he is paranoid. Delusions are the core of paranoia. Anxiety always blocks your ability to understand properly. Paranoia is even worse.

I do not know the history of these videos, and so I ask and do not assume. I've watched two of these now and these men seem like actors. They are both perfectly articulate--use no fillers in the slightest, know what to say exactly as if scripted after each question in order to provide a provocative and shocking responses, and the display of emotion seems like acting. Their elite articulation, even in the slightest, does not show a frenzied mind that struggles with reality and the ability to articulate it. I may be totally wrong. The setting also looks like a television studio set.

Ironically this event occurred during the era when being homosexual or lesbian was very taboo and in fact there were particular signs and unspoken codes or hand gestures that were being used at this time to indicate whether one was gay and interested in the opposite sex. Some years ago something very similar occurred in a men’s bathroom where a public figure went into a stall and let his hand down to gesture at the person next to him whether he wanted to engage in sexual activity. He incidentally was reported and arrested for his actions. This really happened. There also had been reports of truckers having sexual encounters in the woods. They would pull over in the middle of nowhere with the pretense of stretching and relaxing then go into a deserted secluded wooded area and engage in oral sex with other men which I find utterly disgusting. However such things did happen.

I always say "You're intelligent, not because you know. But because you make sense of what you're seeing/saying.". And the last thing a therapist will do is judge. In fact therapists try to avoid calling out your conditions unlike psychiatrists.

he's definitely a rapist but not able to take responsibility because he is also an obvious schizophrenic. He may have been hallucinating when he raped her. Add that to the sexual abuse he suffered as a teenager and its no wonder he raped a girl. He mentions "imp" obviously referring to cars but I wonder if the implication for impotent is also there?

I watched this through very carefully 3 times. I know his presentation skills may not be what most people are accustomed to. but what exactly was it that he said that makes people suspect he's got a mental health problem ? the way I see it is he's an observant and intelligent young man that has made astute observations that others may have difficulty picking up on.

Most schizophrenic are articulate, and intelligent. One of the aspects of the disease is the smarter you are the more reliably you can explain these occurrences to yourself...causing still further beleif in these hallucinations both auditory and visual. What do you do when you can't trust your own sense of reality?
