She is so British but in a good way. Charming, down to earth, hilarious, wise, witty, intelligent, easy going, a bit nut, out spoken but most of all, she has a massive talent that comes only once in a lifetime. Really adore her!
She has the cheekiest sense of humour and such a vibrant personality that I almost forget she is THE ADELE. Adele with the powerhouse voice and the deep and meaningful songs. She just seems like she could be your bubbly best friend or chatty next door neighbour. It’s so endearing, I love it 🤍
"I almost tumbled down the stairs" 😂 She initiated a conversation/cracked a joke the second she got on the stage. She's one of the biggest superstars on the planet but she immediately makes people around her comfortable. And to this day, she still has that same aura and humility no matter where she is or who she's talking to. She's just a treasure.
DISANG LAZARUS SETLHAUNO 😂😂😂 seriously! I feel like Jimmy Fallon never lets anyone talk! And it’ll make me only want to watch no more than 3 minutes of that crap
this is how one interviews a celeb. with respect, humour winging the situation like he cares more for her and her feeling comfortable during the interview than for juicy gossip he could potentially get out of her.
She’s so cute wanting to hear his nursery rhymes he sings to his daughter. She couldn’t give any less fucks if she tried about being famous. She’s amazing
"I don't want people blowing smoke up my arse, iv been around those people and they make shit records and there shit people, and I won't stand for that" LOVE!! Her, always speaks the truth.
He isn't boring for those who are saying that. The interview is about her, not him. He's doing his job brilliantly as she's coming across very well and people are enjoying it.
Absolutely. She seems to be in a league of her own in the music industry. Intelligent, real, beautiful inside and out, and of course extremely talented.
I found the interviewer to be charming and intelligence. Not every interviewer has to be a Graham Norton clone, you know. A funny-anecdote hunter like Norton, as lovely as he is, might not be able to get such deep thoughts out of her.
I come back to this interview at least once a year. You can tell she's at ease. I'm about the same age and I look up to her for being her genuine self. She's sharing her authenticity through her music, which is timelessly inspiring.
What a beautiful soul. Love how she credits her mother with a fabulous childhood. Love how she came from little but used her gifts (and her trials) to become successful. Love how she appreciates her son and being his mother is so important to her. Love her funny personality and her wisdom. Love her humility. Say what you like, but she's a rare breed in the music industry.
To all of you commenting on the interviewer: this is his style. It's not Jimmy Fallon, it's not a Japanese game show. You've gotta love it for what it is.
My cheeks hurt so much from laughing and smiling! Love her so much! Shes so real!! She turned down an invitation to the royal wedding because she was having a barbecue with her friends! Thats how real she is!❤
How come nobody is talking about how absolutely gorgeous & down to Earth this Star is. I Love Adele, her voice is transcending it's like you're hearing something out of this World like an Angel singing. Bravo my dear Love Love your talent & especially you as a Person 😍💖
Everyone's so caught up with defending the interviewer against all the comments claiming he's boring, that they somehow forgot ADELE IS RIGHT THERE! 😭 I adore her, she is hands down my favourite artist/celebrity on the planet. But I think that's a pretty universal feeling so it almost goes without saying!
I'd have to disagree with the majority of people commenting on the interviewer. I thought he was great as he wasn't constantly trying to make the interview about himself like most US and UK interviewers, plus he asked questions that allowed her to elaborate and give long answers.
Jack Nichols right! He was very chill and genuine ! He wasn't trying to get gossip out of her or something that would make his show better, he wanted to hear about her life! And really cares about her.
Adele looks so amazing. She was beautiful even when she first started out, but hearing the confidence and authority in her voice really makes me happy. It's like she's come into her own, she knows who she is and she has a wonderful balance of being healthily guarded and open at the same time.
Her makeup is always perfection, but then she has beautiful features, great bone structure and gorgeous skin - altogether a perfect canvas for her makeup artist to work on.
I feel like Adele is the nicest person on the planet. Like, she's the girl you'd want to have as a best friend cause she's so down to earth and hilarious. I hope she knows how wonderful and special she is to the music industry.
I have to say this. Adele makes me think about life even when she's funny as hell. I think she is one of the best people in show bizniss for kids to look up. I heard Adele for the first time when I was 15 in 2007. I had a really fucked up life and Adele's music was with me, helping me get trough. I'm sure she will never see this but I'm so grateful to her, I didn't give up on life and her music and uplifting personality give me strength. Thank you girl! :)
+SLOLucas That's what is so great about music! It can help anyone, anywhere, no matter how different we are from each other or whether we ever meet...her music has helped me, too.
+SLOLucas I think she is fantastic. However, I do not feel it's her responsibility to have ppl/kids look up to her. That is their parents job. She is here to sing and perform music in essence of her personal/love/life experiences. If it influences ppl to do better than Great!!!
+meow meow Right...so she has an English accent. Or to be more specific, she has a regional accent from where she was raised, so Tottenham. Every speaker of the language has an accent, that's how it is identified. Just because it's the default accent, it's still an accent. But even then there's so many different variations of english throughout regions within the same state or province or borough even, so to anybody not from where she is from will detect a slight to major accent. Otherwise, am I supposed to say "I like the way she pronounces words." Which is saying the same thing as saying accent.
+liligman - i know what you are saying. that is similar everywhere in the world. definitely more pronounced in engalnd/scotland/wales/ireland. what i was trying to point out most people say the comment "i like your accent" to people in the UK. when in fact, those people speaking English outside the UK are the ones with the accent.
I love the fact she knows her interviewer, I mean she even knew how many kids he has. She is funny by the way. And gorgeous. Much better then all those strippers who think they are singers. yall know who I am thinking about.
I like the fact that he is letting her speak, actually listening to what she has to say and not interrupting every 10 secs. Adele would be the best mate to hangout with, so fun.
I'm an American who is just completely baffled (wonderfully) by this interview. The dialogue, the interviewer allowing Adele to finish a sentence. Not fake forced banter like on Jimmy Fallon, Ellen, etc. Brilliant interview.
You should check out the other interviews he has with other major league stars, like Rihanna , Springsteen, Jay-Z, Melody Gardot, Ricky Gervais, etc. They all keep coming back and tipping each other because they really like the atmosphere on the show.
I dont know why people always judge her about weight, she has clearly lost a lot of that weight. She is curvy, not fat. Her face is absolutely beautiful and she has very obvious intelligence.
+Finn Bla That's good if you don't see it. I see people on here always bashing her about it. People skinny shame too. It's all so wrong. As if weight is the most important part about a person.
+oneuniqueusername mariah has been in the business so long unlike adele. her personality changed so much from when she was younger, had more range, and was humbler.
THIS IS THE FINEST smoothest down to earth interview dialog i've ever seen. the presenter is so not a douch bag he is so genuine, and Adele is Wonderful. A normal chill conversation COngratulatons for not gong scrpted bullshit the amercans do. THANK YOU for this !
2 Timothy 3:1-13 Bible (kjv) 3 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. 6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, 7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. 8 Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith. 9 But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as their's also was. 10 But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience, 11 Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me. 12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. 13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.
I love Skavlan interviews. He lets the people talk, and he seems genuinely interested in his guests. Always asks questions that other people don’t necessarily.
She’s so natural and relatable that this interview lasted about 5 minutes for me! I wish it would have been longer. Adele is simply amazing, spontaneous and funny.
I dearly love Adele, her personality and Music. Adele deserves all the fame and recognition because she earned it. She is totally down to earth. Thank u for having her on and all u do but having yr Program.
Can we just take a moment to appreciate how insanely real and down to earth she is? like seriously, she just stands out (in a good way) from everyone. her presence is just epic. Love Adele!
