Imagine just casually flexing that you were at Sonic Youth’s house like it’s no big deal

I wish I can listen to bea’s playlist, her music taste is so diverse and I need to update my playlist

I have to admit that even in my forties I love feeling like I'm ahead of the curve in regards to music. I don't watch Tik Tok but it propelled Benee to sort of break the unknown bubble and RU-vids algorithm was correct in recommending Beebadoobadoaboobyduhbeepbopboop. I may have spelt that wrong. It's amazing seeing these seemingly polished professionals who are really just babies entering into the Big Money Arena. I think the secret to young bands making it is that they don't overthink anything. They are essentially just having fun discovering stuff. Certainly Bea seems to have a great team and if she wasn't cute...well...enjoy making music purely for art's sake. Good luck doing that for long and not feeling bitter about it. I hope she keeps making stuff that moves her and doesn't get caught up in what other people think. Her instincts are great. I still don't know who Pavement is which is funny to me since even Fred Armisen from SNL/Portlandia seemed to think they were a big deal. These young artists are often being influenced by artists I don't know. Certainly makes me feel ancient. But I identified greatly with Bea's punk phase and listening to Green Day's "Dookie". Hopefully Bea doesn't find herself imprisoned by a genre....it seems less and less necessary these days. Do what you like...that in itself will resonate with people.
