ABC4's Utah News Interview with Bethany Woodruff ( The Girl from Poo-pourri Commercial) ! ,,, I DO NOT OWN THIS VIDEO ! Check Out the Original Commercial: • Girls Don't Poop - Poo...
***** I dunno though, I looked at the video (As an ad :C) And she said Shit.. And then I made someone else watch the video (And it was the same Video keep in mind) She didnt say Shit..
Sorry, the Scots accent is different from someone who hails from Ireland and even areas of Britain sound different from the more world expected well known "upper" British accent. If you didn't happen to notice she sounded more like a citizen of the U.S. until she became excited and then she really started to slide into the voice pattern she grew up with.. It would be like someone born in Main living in Boston during College and then coming to Hollywood and learning to speak the required California Style" English that is really for the movies and TV which takes out all local accents and creates a false American sound. It is sad to see that more local dialects or accents are being lost due to the overwhelming power of the media where many children are learning most of their speaking skills. It is boring to sound like everyone else and I love using the various accents I grew up with just to keep them strong. When I came to CA I was teased horribly for how I spoke (Canadian with a Southern U.S. drawl) due to my families makeup. Now I'm proud to be different and have stopped trying so hard to sound perfect.
That's kind of the spirit of her in those commercials. she is being herself: a difficult task in a world with so many opinions, most of which offer us Less room, rather than More room to be ourselves. Good for you for strengthening yourself and staying true to ALL parts of yourself!
Love this girl! She was actually in my LDS ward for a while, and she really is one of the nicest, prettiest and funniest people in person, we hung out a couple times, and it was a blast. Her and her husband are so sweet, and her Scottish accent is delightful.
carlos stankiewicks… she said that she's from Scotland, and she spoke in her natural accent the entire interview. People who live in low education houses shouldn't throw stones.
Seriously (and that's not easy in this context, granted!) she seems very talented and really deserves greater acting opportunities. The downside could be that her early association with this product could actually be detrimental if prudish people are allowed to dominate her future chances. I hope not! She seems very charming and gifted beyond her limited exposure thus far.
At first I thought the commercials were a joke! They were so funny then wow there was a real product. I admired the actress so much I thought she had to have a great deal of experience ti do it so straight faced. So glad someone so young could pull this off. Love the Santa one just had me rolling on the floor. Should be best new advertisement campaign of internet.
I just loved that Poo Pourri add. Have not tried the product yet. But if I see it any store I'll probably buy one. Great job on that commercial - it is my favourite.
The scene where she is with flowers in the background, I was able to tell it was filmed in Utah, because I recognized Twin Peaks mountains in the background.
great interview, he asked all the questions i had on my mind, LOL, and Bethany is quite beautiful, which makes this commericial even more bizarre but totally hilarious! Cheers ;)
A friend of mine bought me a gift of this product after a particular night out. (I'm mildly lactose intolerant, but had ice cream, cheese, yogurt and panna cotta that day - I bombed out her toilet.) The next day, she presented me with the original version, wrapped up in a pretty red box. I died laughing, but I intend to use it at work (supervisor at a mall, and we don't have private toilets). :D
Her accent is screeeewed up! Hehe. Half American, half-Scottish. Her Scottish accent makes her more attractive though ;) Btw, I'm British anddddd I have lived in Glasgow.
+GFINHK I think her accent is starting to disappear because she has been living in America for so long. Either that, or she's trying to get rid of it so she can get more acting gigs.
GFINHK i live in Dublin and one time my family moved to America for a year and all my friends at my high school asked me if my old friends are leprechauns
I knew it!!!!! The female news person at the end says: "for the record, I don't do that". She is a pretty woman, and I know that pretty women don't poo!!! Thank you. Dan
Woah so because of RU-vid recpmmendations I have been watching these commercial all day and now I find out she's a BYU student! That's pretty cool, and I love the scottish accent! I also remember her doing a cockney one for fun, it can be seen in a blooper video so I guess she's really good at that.
everytime I see this comercial I can't help but laugh, at 1rst I didn't want to watch it but then one evening I decided to give it a werle and I just busted a gut laughing.
This stuff is awesome! Opened some up for Christmas last night and me and the better half "sniff" checked each other's bathrooms right after....and yep,she works like a charm. It's an instantly heavy, but nice, smell but what surprised me was how quickly even it's scent disappeared. I got the Get To Know Poo gift set. 2x200 use bottles and 2x20 use purse size bottles. Pretty cheap for what you're getting.
Oh,I forgot something. This woman has a good chance at getting to the next step at being famous. Not that she wants that, but she's smart, she's very sweet,VERY genuine, and could fill a roll in a comedy sitcom, comedy variety show ( like SNL ) ,or just keep on plugging Poo-pouri ? This woman is one in a Billion. She's VERY special.
