Desire Horton, a firefighting pilot of a UH-1H Huey helicopter for the Orange County Fire Authority, was interviewed January 25, 2020. She discussed the jobs that led to her current position, the continual training they do, what it's like to fly with night-vision goggles, and how she knows where to drop the water on a spreading wildfire.
