I think the boys are learned a great deal of English by now. They seem to understand and talk with much more clarity. I'm glad to hear they are not interested in autotune. It is an excuse to say you can sing. But the boys say it is their "power" their uniqueness that is sweeping them into popularity. I also think it is because they sing with passion and deliciously in tune.
I think Piero summed it up nicely when he quietly said, "ascolta" - i.e., if people just listened, they wouldn't make the comparison between Il Volo and the Jonas Brothers and that would end the discussion right there. (At least, that's how I interpreted what he said). Anyway, if that IS what he meant, he's right. I don't blame him for getting ticked off, although he did it so graciously.
Piero was hungry, Gianluca always trying to understand (at the time) to clarify things, Ignazio doing his best (and the only one) speaking English to set the record straight. Gianluca please go back to your curly hair and speaking more Italian.
I saw Ignazio stick his tongue out when compared to the Jonas Brothers. I don't blame him.There is no comparison. IL Volo is far ahead of all the rest .

@theenathalyalovee30. Without ever having seen Gianluca's right hand "lump" in person, I can only guess it is a "cyst" of some type, which is easily removed and should not interfere with him using his hand. These "bumps" are mostly annoying to have and to look at, and even if not removed, usually pose no particular problems, having worked in a dr's office where we removed a number of "bumps" like that.

Holy crap, did anyone else see how Piero's right biceps were bulging? ATTRACTIVE. And I'm reaaally impressed by Ignazio, and how he manages to reply in English all the time. I thought Piero's english was good too...I don't know why he hardly talked in this interview. Normally, he'd be the one talking the most, AND in english as well.
@CaitlynBarone Yeah, I think because they have a translator now they're relying on them more. English is one of the hardest languages to learn, but they're doing really well! :)

I did not say he had it removed. I said he can have it removed. It is filled with fluid and some people have the fluid drained but it usually comes back. It is best to have it removed. While he is home before the US tour,he should have it removed.
+Ann Tseng He does. Maybe the beginnigs with Il Volo were harder for him than it might seem today. Now we see the self-confident, mature and charismatic artist he became, but back then, it must not have been easy to change his life so much. Take a look at videos of him in 2009 or earlier: he was plumpy, and then, in 2010-2011, suddendly he was very thin. Sure it's normal for guys of that age to burn down a lot of calories and to drop a lot of fat while they grow taller, but stress and major life changes, even positive ones, might have taken some toll.
