@50shadesoftayyy Are you kidding? I follow this kid since Gen 13 miniseries. His run on the regular series is epic and don't get me started on Danger Girl, got the comics, trade paperback, sketch book, diorama and action figures, not to mention the video game (so cheesy but I love it!!!❤️). Hopefully one day I get oat least one of the statues based on his art... You have no idea how privileged you are to know him, interact with him and for crying out loud... to be at his studio???!!! I'm Green not because I'm Hulking out, is green of envy!!!!!! Keep it up and I hope we have a follow up!!🤘🤘🤘
Totally awesome that you've done this interview Taylor! J. Scott Campbell is absolutely on my Mount Rushmore of favourite artists. I got to meet him at a convention and he was very kind and genuine. Danger Girl is an all time favourite series and I've always wanted it to be an animated show. When there are variant covers and one of his is available- I get it. Excellent interview. And a surprise too!! Thanks
J Scott Campbell is a legend for sure...I remember back when I was younger an they drop danger girl...his art was prime... If you were an artists or somebody who even admired art you couldn't take your eyes off the pages... I was so inspired by how he blended elements of Disney into his style... The way he drew fighting scenes was really impressive to.. he knows how to Pace action very well.. His Gen 13 stuff was good too...he's still great... I got his variant cover that he did for detective comics issue 1000... I like his batman work..yeah Mr.J Scott you cool for life!! You keep doing interviews like this and you got a permanent subscriber
This was every bit as fun as I'd hoped it would be!! Not gonna lie Taylor, I'm a little (okay fine.. A LOT) jealous! Great content. Scott is awesome, both artistically and seemingly as a person. And you of course, as charming as ever.
Wow! Great interview! And AWESOME Halloween story!!😂😂 That same Homage Studios competition back in the 1990s, I also sent comic samples, and what’s funny(at least to me) was watching him as we are the same age, so it was cool seeing him get his start. Now it’s been awesome watching his evolution to where he is now. Great Interview
Hi Taylor! This interview is so amazing! It was really inspiring and joyful to watch it and listened. Thank you very much, you made a graaate job on this
The Secret wars figures were not the first figures based on comicbook characters. Mego's World's Greatest Superheroes line was a thing 10 years earlier.
