It is quite amazing as our faith is anchored on the literal resurrection of a dead man, yet many Christians find a literal 6 day creation to be impossible. Its crazy how we, as humans, limit the power of God in our own finite, fallible minds.

Funny, because to anyone paying attention his ministry only demonstrates that they’re all liars. They’re well aware of the heat problem and the insurmountable contractions it poses to their claims. All of these are just a small percentage of the lies told by the AIG money machine. They’re only forced to lie because the Bible’s lies can never describe reality. So naturally they are forced to lie about reality to pretend like their ideas work when reality still debunks them over and over again. You don’t even have to take science’s word for it. Go to a prominent fossil collecting site anywhere, and anywhere before the Permian, absolutely nothing even close to a mammal will ever show up. And if you’re look in Ordovician rocks and before, there’s suddenly no leaves! Curious that such a powerful flood which also was calm enough in Ordovician spots to deposit shale left zero leaves and zero large logs sunk at the bottom of calm shale depositing regions. Curious that is, as always. Lol

I can tell you are historically illiterate, but I'll humor you. Paul is in agreement with biblical theology, and was said in Acts (written by Luke the evangelist) to be an apostle sent by God. Joseph Smith completely disregards the precepts of Christ, and had contradictory accounts of his revelation from God. Yes, and this issue goes beyond just the authority of God's Word. It is also about His character and nature. The very nature of the Lord. It is impossible for Jesus to create the earth filled with animal violence, yet, OECs must have this violence from the beginning as the fossil record shows animal carnivory. OECs must have the Lord creating an a dangerous environment for his people to live in from the beginning before the fall. A world filled with violence and death. In Genesis and Isaiah we see such violence is impossible for Him to create because it violates His very character and nature. Violence is unholy. The Lord is holy. He brought the Flood upon people AND animals because of their violence. In Isaiah 49 he restores peace as the Prince of Peace reigns from Jerusalem. He makes it clear in that chapter that violence is unholy and opposed to his nature, and his very presence at that time restrains the animals once again. If millions of years did occur, our God does not exist. Yes, you better believe this is a 1st tier issue.

Agree. I am a French Christian: creationism is unheard of here. The great majority of French Christians unquestionably accept the theory of evolution as fact. I was fortunate to be indirectly taught that evolution was false at my RC school by my philosophy teacher (who was or wasn't a Christian). Later on, I became a Christian in England and creationism was strong then, though I wouldn't be surprised if that hasn't changed. I stopped believing the lie of evolution before I even accepted Christ and discovered the Bible. How is it possible that Evangelicals start believing the lies of the world and turning their backs on Israel, too. Maranatha

@@LindsayJoJo That's awesome. Myself? I don't think I ever doubted God as a child. Even though my brother and I had very minimal exposure. Our parents still taught us about God and we had some Sunday school. I really didn't understand about Jesus and what he did until much later. But yes, the Word is true It's all true. I suppose I can understand why people don't believe, but in reality not really. B/c of all the evidence of God. Like His wonderous creation. We just know. The longer and more I read and pray His Word the more He reveals Himself to me. Absolutely.

@@LindsayJoJo Oh I think I know what your saying. Once while I was pondering Jesus's resurrection at work one day long ago. I had this sudden clear and very real like image in my head of Jesus lying dead then His eyes opening quickly. But all I could see was His head part in my mind. It wasn't like an ordinary thought though. It was a revealing thought that had to come from God. Had to be. B/c I then seen a friend and told him how Jesus did come back to life and he looked at me and said, no He didn't. I was shocked, then a little while later I went to talk with him but didn't quite make it. B/c as I was approaching, he seen me coming and started talking to another and I could see the laughter as they looked at me. Then he just left. So I was being persecuted for believing. A high honor. But at the time didn't feel like it. But that paid off. For years later that same guy told me he thought I was right about that. God did that not me. But your talking about the epiphany part. Yes, when you know it's real. Yes I know.

@@TimothyFish Yes. But do you believe in theories or the Word Of God. We know there is nothing impossible for God except evil. There can be nothing He can't accomplish. We also know He created by His speaking. Now, when God speaks things appear. Light appeared and it's my understanding the light from the stars didn't have to wait billions of years for us to see it. Just like the microwave background which the secular scientists measured and made them contend that the universe had a beginning. It's my belief God can accomplish these marvelous feats b/c of who He is. I think it is an error to surmise that Genesis has to be read as millions of years or even hundreds of thousands of years. We all have heard the saying truth is stranger than fiction. That's b/c there is much truth to it. I recently watched a debate between a Christian evolutionist and a what they would call a young earth creationist. Notice how they label us. As if we are simple minded. The hoops the evolutionist has to jump through to get their conclusions are legion. And frankly non biblical.

I appreciate the work of Ham, Ortlund, and Winger. I think they're all great. I disagree with Ortlund on YEC/OEC but he DID say in his recent videos that YEC people have answers to his objections. He has studied it extensively for years and he knows the arguments very well. He just disagrees.

Ham arguments are pathetic: God created the physical Universe and the Laws of physics: so scientific evidence will support what God actually created!

I like Gavin’s approach, and I agree with a lot of his takes. Though I disagree with him on YEC, the flood, and his view on cessationism. Him and Justin would probably have a great conversation on any of those topics

Gavin really threw me when he announced that the flood was localised. I was depressed for two weeks because I really respect Gavin.

@@scottb4579 I am a novice 66yr old pensioner. I came upon Gavin through my minister. I've never been to university but I have a thirst for the Lord. I love Gavin's humility and he's talks are fascinating. In particular when he started out. But I realise that I have to be a lot more discerning nowadays in view of the Alistair Begg saga as well. Ultimately, the Bible is the final authority. My minister was my sounding board and mentor and unfortunately, died just before Christmas i.e. just before Gavin dropped his 'localised flood' bomb. Therefore I didn't have anyone to talk it through with. I don't think that Gavin realises what an impact this talk has had and what a crisis it has caused in some people's lives. I still love Gavin, but have been reminded that he is a fallible human being. Romans 11:34-36. God bless you my brother in Christ 🙏🏻

@@harmonyadams7577 I am 60. I have spent approximately 2500 hrs studying the old earth/young earth issue, and the local vs global flood issue. I have arrived at this conclusion: If the earth is billions of years old, our God does not exist. I can support that with scripture. Concerning the Flood, the language in Genesis, the facts presented, the statements made by God and recorded by Moses are sufficient to prove a global flood. It's absurd to think it was limited to the Mesopotamian region. Just one fact alone is the Ark came to rest in the mountains of Arrarat. Mr Arrarat is 16940 feet above sea level, yet we are told the highest peaks were 22-23 feet below water. That is a global flood. May God bless you and give you whatever you need.

@garymacdougall4465 what does he teach that is deceitful? He teaches that God’s word is infallible and true. He backs that up with scientific evidence. I see nothing wrong with his teachings. He preaches from the very same Bible that I grew up believing. Yet we are considered deceitful because we don’t believe a teaching that cropped up in the past 200ish years based on no actual evidence? Just the theory, theory mind you because they can’t prove it, of evolution.
