This is a portion of a much longer interview I did with Levon Helm and Larry Campbell in 2009, which was the basis for an article I wrote about Levon for Acoustic Guitar Magazine. They had just released Levon's "Electric Dirt" CD, which eventually went on to win a Grammy, and our conversation was all about their musical ideas, deep history and attitude to their work.
