Linda Harrison is best known for playing the part of Nova opposite Charlton Heston in the original "Planet of the Apes" and "Beneath the Planet of the Apes" as well as roles in films with Walter Mathau, Jerry Lewis and other Hollywood greats.
She is also known for marrying into "Hollywood royalty" when she married Richard Zanuck (Producer of "The Sound of Music", "Jaws", and many other films.)
Richard Zanuck's father Daryl Zanuck was one of the early Hollywood writer/producers and began his work in filmmaking in 1922 and continued into the 1970s.
In more recent years Ms. Harrison's sons Dean Zanuck and Harrison Zanuck have developed reputations for their work as producers on such films as "Get Low", "Road to Perdition", "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory", and other films
