He is the Best percussion finger picking style guitar player un the world plus he invented all these cool things like 3 necks guitar and other things! Cool guy would like to play like does and My Big question is what exactly kind of strings he used or You recomend menos to learn to play like You do?
Great interview. Discovered Luca Stricagnoli only recently and think he lied a bit. I don't think he came from a little city 10 minutes from Switzerland. I think he is not from this planet. Anyway: Very informative, and lucky you to had a chance to interview him. And for Mr. Stricagnoli!.... Don't stop... Where ever you came from ;)
Oh My God! What makes You think that he is from other planet? Just because he is extremely talented. All of us have talent we just have to practice and ThAt Will make us aliens
So why You said that he is lying!? What he would do something that stupid of lying that he lives around 15 mts from Switzerland since every place in Europe is closer than the distance if your pyssy to your Open wide asshole. I think You are a Big liar! CADA ladrón juzga por su condición! I hate lately people that are haters ! Lucas is humble, talented and You have to be criticizing others to Feed your ego! Look yourself at the mirror! What do You see? A hater for sure! I hate haters! All the haters should fucking die to make this world a better lovely place! Even if he líes , is that your business? Do You pay his rent ir bills to judge him or criticize others? Are you perfect? I think a piece of shit its more valuable than You! Fuck off and respect Lucas Stricagnoli!
Great interview! It’s so cool to see our theater hosts such great artists. Thanks for chatting and posting this video. The colonial and our staff appreciate the coverage. Keep up the good work!
love the interview...Luca you are amazing. I really enjoyed meeting you in Kent at International Guitar Night...it was the bomb. Keep up the excellent work
@michelina: I think "talented" is misleading here. Talented implies for me, that his skills are somehow "given" or easily won. But in the interview I've learned that he trained himself five f**king hours a day and when he missed this goal by any chance, next day he practised even more... Controlling himself with a stopwatch. For years. So it is not talent, it is dedication and pretty hard work. And personally, I admire this even more than the skills. This may be also a good example what one could achieve when putting this much effort in a goal one wants to reach.
Many ambidextrous people in italy, like leonardo da vinci, they have seperate brains, left and right equally, but we nrmal humans just have 1. Luca is very lucky to be born with such uniqueness. I bet he can solve the rubics cube with his left hand while drawing a picture with right hand at the same time.
Great job with the interview, Jason! I recently discovered Luca Stricagnoli and am hooked! So lovely to hear him speak and get a glimpse into his wonderful mind! Keep up the good work Jason!
Very good interview! You were a bit nervous at the beginning but that didn't matter. The questions you had were good and you let Luca to speek freely. Way too often interviewers have list of pre-made questions and they hurry too much to get through the list to not really listen the guest.
When you start at 10 years of age, well .... is it any wonder that guitar becomes your second language? He’s absolutely superb at his craft - alternate tunings, percussive accuracy, melodic interpretations, etc. Some very talented individuals are now on the scene in this lifetime. I hope he evades all of the destructive distractions and continues to share his gifts with the world. Thank you, Luca!!!
I think you missed the part where he said he stopped at 16 and then only seriously started around 19. The hours he put in years later are way more of an explanation to his level than the age he started at
I'm absolutely in love with Lucas talent and music! My grandfather would have loved this as he taught guitar and other instruments in his studio with his students. My favorites were always classical fingerstyle and loved and traveled with his mandolin. I'm so amazed with Luca. Hes my favorite! I love music❤
Aha..Glad this guy getting recognition. I saw a Luca vids years ago before he was popular and incorporated his type of innovative elements in a simple acoustic.. He is a genius.. Great interview btw ..!!!
So glad you asked him to play that number, it's great to watch him play that style and tuning. He must get so much joy from being able to play at this level.
Great Interview!. Luca is an amazing guitarist, however I cannot compare with all the other guitar greats like...I respect all of them, (not who's better than who) Gabriella, Mircan, Frano, and all the others! Not forgetting my guitar legends..... Tommy Emmanuel, Chet Atkins and of course Les Paul. :)
