Great band. I love their album, can't wait for their second. It's kind of depressing to see them still playing in clubs and tiny theaters. I hope they get bigger, they deserve it.
Ppl should check this band out. They feel like 70/80s old bar rock n roll. I would love to see these guys live. Very exciting hearing this bands music😁
Luke is like the best of Freddie Mercury, Mick Jagger, Bon Scott, David Bowie and Elton John all rolled into one entertaining package! Keep doing what you do Luke, and keep reaching for the stars! Lord knows you and your band deserve it.
I saw these guys open for Foo Fighters last night here in Fresno, Ca.......they were great! bringing fun back to rock n roll....Luke Spiller is definitely a cross between Freddie and Mick
I think we all know that we're diggin' the "Freddie Mercury" Vibe...with this guy. no gettin' around it. and i'm sure 'He Knows it, quite well. all good. lovely to have someone who sounds, resembles and moves...much like the former Queen Frontman. this is a cool band. Welcome to the States, Boys! ....
Mick Jagger + Freddie Mercury = Luke Spiller, talentosíssimo, gravem este nome, junto com os integrantes de The Struts, farão muito sucesso, Parabéns virei, Fã!!
He looks, sounds, moves and even rolls his R's like Freddie Mercury did. It is possible that Freddie could have passed some of his genes along the way some where. ;-) Awesome band!!!!
30 years ago, this band would have been considered a legend. It's true what Luke said, the music today that's played in mainstream media is a result of intensive research instead of taking a chance by putting something out there and see the outcome of it. Just hear the music that's being played these days, they mostly sound flat or dead. The joy that was once in music has Long gone.
I came across you guys when loading up my Spotify and I typo'd the strokes and it opened up a world of great music and Luke Spiller is a brilliant showman, I have just missed your UK tour but can't wait for the next 1. Keep rocking guys
I saw them last night in Fresno opening for The Foo Fighters. I wasn’t sure what to expect because I had never heard of them before but I loved them! Luke was so high energy with a fabulous voice and got everyone pumped for Foo.
Its a shame they've had trouble in their native country (the same as my own). No wonder I haven't heard of them until now. They are better than the other British dross at the moment, the two choices being some third rate dancey hip hoppy crap or some clone of Ed Sheran singing some equally cloned Ed Sheran song. The Struts should be mopping the floor with these guys.
This is such a late reply but I feel this! I'm British too and I think they're one of the most innovative and interesting music acts we've produced in years. Why doesn't the UK understand that??
In his recent interview with Eddie Trunk, Luke Spiller said he's a big fan of Air Supply. There goes that rock credibility out the window. Even the rock gods of the 70s wouldn't openly admit to liking ABBA or the Bay City Rollers
That’s a shame. Rock stars can like ABBA and all those other groups you mentioned, music is music. They shouldn’t lose credibility because they a bit of disco or whatever.
Your problem in England seems to follow the pattern of so many great British bands all the way back to the sixties. They all came over to The States and formed the great British Invasion and “made it” here. It’s amazing to think that a band of the stature of Zeppelin was still being called an “American band” by dimwits in the British press even in 1979 after a decade on the world stage.
These guys are so talented just started listening Great stuff just don't know where they fit in pop or rock. I think that is the problem they have cause the music is great.
