I had an opportunity to get a full tour of the Soo Marine Supply facility in Sault Ste Marie, Michigan with GM Marc Burd who was kind enough to interview with me and explain how everything works as we walked all around. It was great to learn all about the intricacies of what they do at SMS . They are an important part of Great Lakes Shipping and this is normally something we would never get a chance to see so a huge thank you to Marc for taking the time and agreeing to do this with me

Thanks Andrea and Marc for all the information. I learned a ton. Andrea, I hope you continue to do these 'behind the scenes' videos and interviews with folks in the shipping industry. There are tons and tons of videos on all the ships (hundreds if not thousands) passing by, but not nearly enough of everything else. Again, your efforts to interview interesting people is most appreciated.

Very informative Andrea. I had the pleasure of visiting Soo Marine in October and Marc was extremely gracious in walking me around. Also went out of his way to help plan the pizza delivery to Presque Isle at the end of the season. This will be very educational for the STL viewers who love Ojibway and want a behind the scenes look at what they do. Thanks for doing this

Really cool interview. Years ago I used to work for Ace Hardware and made regular deliveries to these guys, I only got to see the shipping receiving areas of course but its really neat to see the other areas and history.

This is cool behind the scenes in the Soo for the shipping industry. You might want to look into external mics for your interviews. It was hard to hear Marc many times. Thanks for the great video.
