@carronem Compare her accent in Cosette with the interviews she did for Alice. In Cosette she is using her natural voice , In the Alice interview, it is some sort of neutral hybrid mix of accents. And you dont just loose your accent,unless you want to. Just ask Russell Crow ,or Hugh Jackman. Dont forget that Australians are bought up on a diet of American TV shows, without talking like Americans

Actually she did that interview without her fake American accent. I dont know why she uses the American accent in interviews. Australian actors are doing lots of US TV drama's and sitcoms, and generally they use their normal voice for interviews. She still lives with her parents in Canberra, and spends a lot of time commuting.

@whipthedog Um..accents are like this, some people have a good memory others don't.It is difficult to keep a consistant melody in 2 different accents. Okay this girl is young. but when you get older unless it becomes challenging. . Thank god american movies are being dubbed in French, we don't have to put up with that overdose of americanism.

If this girl doesn't have a long career, then there is no justice At least not in my book
