I don’t listen to modern stuff that much, and the bands that I do enjoy (Gorod, Faceless, Obscura) mostly seem to say, they don’t really listen to modern metal that much. So… my question is… is modern metal mostly not that good? Or do I just gravitate towards bands that prefer older stuff maybe not in their style as such but song-writing-wise?

Nah dude, that's mostly because of these preconceived notion of what the evolution of metal has been about, it's an open to interpretation kinda thing - you've like induced yourself so much metal that you need more inspiration to escape from those noise technical riffs at your peak to understand and justify that you do not necessarily need to be metal to be metal, well if that makes sense haha

Definitely a classic metal head from what we picked up on, but sort of his sense of humor as well. Who doesn't love the classics!?

Oh we all do, but it didn't really occur to me that it was his humor. Michael's reaction to him when he said he doesn't listen to that much music wasn't humorous. Afterall he did some great job doing vocals in this album, I personally expected him to speak about what inspired him and such.

Absolutely! I believe I geared that question towards both him and Michael and Michael sort of took the reigns on it. But Ken sounds fantastic on the record and I would love to maybe meet up with him for an interview to get more in depth details about how the experience was for him and what inspired him for this vocal role in The Faceless.

Hahaha, most definitely. We have others, but given the conditions and amount of people interviewed, it boiled down to this one! An ugly one indeed, but our resources are still somewhat limited, but we are expanding equipment. Thanks for checking it out at least!
